Generally, yes. At least one class will have an outstanding feature. I enjoy watching all the classes, so I always get my moneys worth. You still might have a stinker of a night once in a while, but pretty rare.

Last night was basically a weekly show. Most of those drivers were regulars (minus Mars). Sometimes you get Pierce, Babb and a few others on top of that. Pretty fortunate around here. Farmer City isn't my favorite place but it has been pretty decent the last couple of years too on Friday's. Throw in Macon, Lincoln, Peoria, LaSalle and Spoon River during Summer Nats we get real spoiled.

The weekly shows at FALS have always been good. The big shows have been great the last 5 - 6 years. I do remember some not so memorable PDC's years ago but that's forgotten memories.

You've got a good group of talented regional drivers there weekly that know how to race. That helps.

The last time I was @ Fairbury a '57 Ford was a late model. Gotta go back sometime to see if the same car is still racin' there!

On a side note, have you ever experienced a winter up north? If you're serious, just imagine yourself butthole deep in snow, and its still snowing and blowing and the windchill is -30 degrees and your trying to dig your car out to get to work or the grocery store. That's what the last few winters around here have been like. Just saying, I would not relocate for a racetrack, my opinion only.
It could always be worse. I went to college in North Dakota. -30 sounds like a nice early spring day up there. The day I moved after graduating it was May 10 (2013) and I believe it was -10. There were some days in January where the wind chill would be -40, or -50. The racing was spectacular but I don't think I would move back on a bet. Especially since racing season is so short up there. That is the thing about AL, they have racing from January to November.

              Thanks,
              Jeff.
