Scott, I have not spoke to Craig or LPJ in awhile, so I am unsure of their plans.
I did read that Thorton Jr will be running some of the USMTS series this season, and I am sure he will have his open motor ready. Remember last Fall in Cruces? Thorton made the trip to Cruces for the 10k show. Where on that Friday night (night #1) he won the first prelim which put him on the pole for Sunday's finale. They skipped Saturday's portion of Cruces, drove 4-5 hours back home (open trailer), put the IMCA motor back in and completed the SEASON SWEEP at his home track Saurday night. (yeah, they had a bounty on him...) Then early Sunday, put the open motor back in and make the 4-5 drive (open trailer) back to Cruces for the finale, where he was scheduled to start on the pole. A sponsor offered 5k to him if he started 26 (last) and another 25k if he won. He accepted, race went green-checker and he ran 5th. This kid really needs to be back East and in a SLM.
