The series is the Battle of the Bluegrass REGION. Please look back at the history and you will see that the series previously visited tracks outside of Kentucky. There are only so many tracks with available dates inside Kentucky. Many of the tracks in Kentucky are closed.

I will never understand how people can put something down without even seeing the product. Hey people someone is trying to give the racers in and around the region something good, something they have asked for. How about give it a chance rather than just being negative because you think it is cool.
There's a big difference between the old BOB schedules and this one. I don't have a problem with any of the races and will most likely be there for the ones I can make. I just feel like the series should've had a different name. They went out of state maybe 4 times at the most in a season back in the old BOB days. When I heard last year year that it was coming back, it had me interested in how many of the tracks that were on it before would be there again, and also knowing that most of those tracks back the aren't around now. Yea there are a few kentucky tracks that don't have a date, the 2 I mentioned earlier are not normally Friday night race tracks. I'll be anxious to see the rest of the schedule when its fully done though.

This is just mainly my opinion, to me it resembles somewhat the old STARS schedule more than it does the old BOB.

If it is presented this way perhaps people will see the series as having more of a Bluegrass flavor. Obviously I can count and there are still more races outside KY than in it, but as a REGIONAL series and if they add 4 more races in KY and with Brownstown and Moler being quite close to the Kentucky line, that's not bad.

Maybe the real solution would have been to just call it The Battle of the Bluegrass Region Series.

It was announced as a regional series.

The Tennessee races are required as well.

Flagone I just want to thank you and the owners for trying to bring more racing to the Kentucky area. Grantit I don't live in Kentucky and we only race there a handful of times and I like the tracks that we go to. Good job on getting racetracks , teams and (MOST) fans to understand that this is the first year of this series and it will take time but hopefully in the next couple of years a Ky tracks will catch on and you will have more

Don't let the complainers get to you. The ULTIMATE Series is becoming one of the best regional series' in the country, and has done so in a somewhat short amount of time. Keep up the good work, I look forward to attending my first few Ultimate shows this year at Georgetown, Potomac, VMS and Winchester.

            Thanks,
            Jeff.

They have definately built something to be proud of.........this may sound silly to some, but if I had a choice to go see woo or go see the ultimates and all things were equal, I'd be going to the ultimate venue........the racing is just consistently (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) good through the field.
Where is the move over flag when you need it?????

From the highlights I've seen on DoD the races certainly look competitive and they race on some great tracks.

                Thanks,
                Jeff.

Don't let the people whining about "only 4 races in Kentucky" get to you.

You know the old saying--those who can, do. Those who can't, whine. Lots of little girls on this forum apparently.

Bill, I don't quite see how this could be taken as a complaint. Just a simple ironic statement.
