We will be discussing 2017 rules in Florida. That is pretty late in the year. And there are plenty that don't attend World Finals (though that is the proposed 2nd meeting). Much of the work and opinion / fact gathering will likely done by email and video conferencing and through the use of surveys and such.

That what I thought it was supposed be nonce but making sure it did not change.. so this could go either way. If they leave it more open than lucas rules making their box a little bigger. Or making the box smaller because they see jd, scott, landers, ect. beating woo @ golden isles, East Bay and screven. So when @ Volusia they can say nope jd we ban that, sorry scott and landers that not aloud sorry your going to run like crap now. Oh yes josh, shane, ect. That ok for the rules wink wink. Woo not giving no time to test and set your car up on off season, to stay in the new rules. That is dumb and every time they do this they seems like they target one or two drivers from.last season that was stinking up the show. That to me is more nascrap than lucas. Lucas gave them time to do what drivers and chassis builders to make the new changes and testing.

First of all the rules committee is not just a World of Outlaws entity. They are just a part of the conversation and are helping to facilitate it.

Secondly I understand that IF WoO changes anything it would be a situation where they would say "these rules will go into effect on August 1, 2016" or something similar. It likely won't be an immediate thing.

Everything is not a conspiracy people. It is amazing that people call for everyone to work together and the moment they do something to get that started people attack it.

flagone hoosier needs be there .WE NEED SAME TIRES ACROSS THE COUNTRY!Also the exotic rf solid spring combination needs be standard single spring on rf, 3 reasons on rf rule slow cars down which would be better racing,its dangerous I have seen cars flip going into corner when solid suspension breaks shock ends off. IT HAS MADE SETUPS MORE COMPLICATED MORE TIME,MORE TESTING,MORE MONEY EVERYONE ENDS UP ON SAME STUFF WHY NOT JUST MAKE EVERYONE RUN STANDARD SPRINGS LESS TIME SPENT ,LESS MONEY SPENT..

You're right...Why don't we just dumb this down so that nobody can do anything innovative or outside the box at all.
Shocks are too complicated - Make a rule that they can't be adjustable and outlaw all this stack spring stuff. Who has the time for complex math like long division. We're dirt racers and most of us not do so good in school.
Aluminum wheels are too expensive - Let's run steel ones instead.
4-bar rear suspension makes my head hurt - Let's go back to truck arms.
Quick change rear ends are too exotic and I'm always putting the gears in backwards - Let's put everybody on 9" floaters so I don't even have to think about it anymore.
Oh...and bodies...why can't we just put bodies off of street cars on our chassis so that we all look like grandma's grocery-getter...that will put fans in the stands and be cheaper won't it?

The above rules package would make racing so much cheaper and everybody could afford to race. Those guys in the hornets would all go out and get "late models" and this would save our poor sport.

FYI for those of you that can't pick up on sarcasm...I just described NASCAR cup rules and look how much it costs just to get your foot in the door in that sorry excuse for a sanctioning body. If you think more rules is the answer every time somebody outsmarts the competition, you're woefully mistaken. And your mentality will lead straight to the complete eradication of dirt track racing as we've always known it.
