Entry level stockers at Walmart are not making even close to $26k. However, there is no chance at all that I would work my tail off on a top level DLM 24/7 for $500/wk. With the kind of life style you need to live to do it I would probably need twice that to consider it.Originally posted by Barbecueboy View PostEntry level stockers working at Walmart make the same as you describe above......fact!
Thanks,
Jeff.

You don't think night stockers at Walmart or about any grocery store aren't making 10+ bucks per hour?..........I think you would be surprised.Originally posted by W2Racing09 View PostEntry level stockers at Walmart are not making even close to $26k. BBQ, I put in my 2 cents and I guess no one agrees with me. I will agree with you about the people that work lower level jobs and the pay. They get a heck of a lot more than people give them credit for. I am sure you will agree that there is no way in he1l a top 10 National Level Crew Chief makes less than 40 grand a year. That's $770.00 a week. Crap that won't make my motorhome payment and fill the fuel tank for a weekend of racing. lol
All those guys make good money. Just because I do it for free don't mean I don't know and talk to some of the national guys. We have a tire guy that helps us and only comes to the track. He gets paid what GRT62 is looking for in a full time crewchief. lmao. But no, he1l I don't know what I am talking about.

The top crew chiefs do ok, but even they aren't raking it in.........a friend of mine was a crew chief for a national touring driver and he had a package that included base pay, percentage of winnings and was provided a small home to live in.
I don't know the stipulation on the home( whether owner or driver owned it) , just know that it was part of the package..........as has seen said before, nobody does it for the mega bucks.Where is the move over flag when you need it?????

About 4 years ago while I was in College in ND I happened to be a stock person at WalMart in North Dakota and I was making $9.25. But none the less $10/hr only comes out to $400 if you are somehow blessed by the pope and are allowed to actually work 40 hrs a week (the limit at my store was 33 hours per week). Lets just say I don't miss that job!Originally posted by Barbecueboy View PostYou don't think night stockers at Walmart or about any grocery store aren't making 10+ bucks per hour?..........I think you would be surprised.

Got a guy locally who takes care of 4 race teams cars. One day a week he will come to your shop wash car fix any damage check and tighten, bolts rescale the car and set it up he charges 150 a day so he's pulling down a least 600 a week cash and he don't have to travel.
