A few of the drivers in the pits for tonight's MLRA Spring Nationals open practice include Jason Papich, Jimmy Mars, Reid Millard, Jeremy Payne, Robert Baker, Kyle Berck, Terry Phillips, Jesse Stovall, Austin Siebert, Josh Poe, Chris Brown, Gavin Landers, Tony Jackson Jr., Dustin Walker, Tad Pospisil, Brantlee Goschall, Austin Rettig, Jason Krohn, and Rodney Sanders plus several USRA Modifieds and Street Stocks. Drivers continue to roll in.

Add Billy Moyer to the Lates and Ken Schrader to the Mods along with Rodney Sanders.

Best bet to find updates is the MLRA page on Facebook/Twitter. Also live timing will be on race monitor.

Sounds like Bobby Pierce is on his way.

Sure would like to be there. The race track and facility look fantastic as usual, per the photos on MLRA facebook page. Sounds like a good field of drivers is rolling in. Limited time off of work keeps me from being there. I hope everyone that is there enjoys the weekend. Maybe Jason Papich can start of his MLRA '16 tour by picking up a feature win?

About pulled the trigger after I-80 cancelled last week. Instead decided on next weekend for the Slocum.

Looks like McCormick, Stadel, Weder, and both Looneys are all in the pits. Should be a stellar field.

I thought Papich was gonna get one in Arizona. It's pretty incredible to see how much better he's gotten the last few years.

Good choice on the Slocum. Seems like Burlington is always racy.Pierce Unsinger and Berkoffer are going to be there. Not official.

Looks like 43 late models at Wheatland tonight. Good number, however, surprised not to see last year's 3,4,5,6,7,9 in MLRA points there...

Track fast but not easy to pass, should come in later. Smooth is strong, two guys sub 15 second laps Beard and Sanders in their beats, Pierce is fast but started towards back of his heat. Stovall has work to do. Papich started pole and walked in his heat.

Utter and Simpson don't have it listed on their websites. Those two NOT being there is as surprising to me as Jimmy Mars being in attendance.

A recent release quoted O'Neil himself that he would be there. Guess his plans changed.

Not sure about Whitwell. Maybe he isn't going to drive the #6 Humphrey ride this year?

Never know what to expect from Gressel Racing, in terms of where/when Gustin will race.

Correct on Utter and Simpson. Articles on the front page of there websites indicate there intentions this year.

ONeil is in Tennessee racing.... Or atleast suppose to be.

Mars was at this race last year. If not it was two years ago.

Not sure what's going on with Humphrey/Whitwell. Humphrey could be pulling back some.

Gustin has seem to be here and then not as far as racing at Lucas. I'm sure he will be around.
