If you could gain 2 or 3 tenths that stuff must have been amazing.

Or maybe it is like this. If you are a Lucas guy with $100k on the line it is worth the risk. If you get caught you still get to run the Lucas series. But if you are a WOO guy and get caught you will also get suspended from the WOO. Risk VS Reward. Some of you should really contact your state and demand a refund for your education...Originally posted by Highside Hustler25 View PostCould it be a conspiracy? This is how I break it down. 1. Scott Bloomquist Lucas boy thru and thru. Left WoO in 2004 and never looked back. Been a Lucas regular since 2009 and has been the Lucas Oil poster child for the last 6 years. 2. Jimmy Owens The other Lucas poster child. 3 Lucas titles in a row. Only National series he's ever competed in. Bleeds Lucas oil red second only to Scott. 3. Brandon Sheppard One of the hottest young guns out there. Gained National exposure with WoO when he got the Rocket house car ride for a year. WoO thought they might get a fresh young driver for their series as some of the WoO originals are getting close to the end of their careers on a National level. But wait, B Shep ends up joining the Lucas tour right when they're in dire need of some new good talent after losing T Mac and Lanigan. 4. Greg Satterlee Ran the WoO tour for quite a few years and has since dropped off to run a more regional schedule. 5. Ricky Thornton sorry
I got nothin here I do find it strange that I can not remember WoO ever busting one of their regulars. Maybe coincidental who knows but it sure smells fishy. One thing I do know, WoO can't afford to suspend one of their own if they want to maintain a traveling series.

Now now now, no need to make those kinda jokes about a man's height! Yes, he may have come up short at the Dream, but at least he can stand tall knowing he didn't cheat! What's that you say? He did? Well, he should just be the bigger man and admit his shortcomings... He shouldn't let his detractors weaken his resolve... Just give them the double tall man and tell 'em to go to hell!Originally posted by Andrews42FAN View PostWhen they were testing Satterlees tires he was fairly agitated and short with everyone.

Could it be since 3 of those caught Usually run Lucas that they were willing to gamble at a non-points event paying $100K that they wouldn't be selected for testing? I don't see how them getting caught by WoO says that Lucas isn't testing. It was a logical, be it, ill advised gamble for a $100,000 since the penalties/suspensions wouldn't effect your day job...Originally posted by Pennsboro23 View PostIf you're Jonathan Davenport, how do you feel? Lucas drew up a 3 page rule book just for his left rear and you've got other guys doping tires on the Lucas series. (It's not like this is their first time). I can't believe people aren't talking about Lucas more in this deal. Looks to me like they're letting tire doping go. WoO/UMP just made themselves look a whole lot better than Lucas, integrity wise.Last edited by Aces&Eights; 06-23-2016, 10:19 PM.

You really think this is their first time doing it this year? They aren't going to gamble like that only once and risk their reputations and for 100,000?. What were they going to do had they won the 100,000, they know that the tires would have been taken. They've gotten away with it so many times and thought they would again. This wasn't a hey lets chance it kinda deal. They were thinking nobody was going to check, or that they had undetectable stuff, and had gotten away with it all year. WoO/UMP don't have a problem catching guys all the time. When is the last time someone has been caught running a lucas series race? You can really tell who has common sense and who doesn't around here.Originally posted by Aces&Eights View PostCould it be since 3 of those caught Usually run Lucas that they were willing to gamble at a non-points event paying $100K that they wouldn't be selected for testing? There are quite a few things in racing that have/are being done that people believe are amazing. None of the guys using the stuff have legitimate testing data to prove it works. I call BS on a second. Unless you softened a D70 to durometer 35 and were running on a wet track. You just can't gain that much. Anyone who did, it would be totally obvious.Originally posted by oldfart50 View PostI have seen it gain over a second for over 70 laps. If it wasnt amazing no one would be doing it.Last edited by MasterSbilt_Racer; 06-22-2016, 09:48 AM.Modern Day Spec Wedge Racing
