    RF stack springs

    If you want about 300 lb. RF with stack spring
    What combo is best and why
    625/575 = 299lbs.
    750/500 = 300 lbs.
    1000/425 = 298 lbs.

    all help would be appreciated thanks

    If you are stacking springs to make a single rate spring, it doesn't matter all that much. If one of them is only 4" long, I would make sure it was a relatively stiff one. Probably at least 600#.

          I tried a bunch of different combo best one i found was a 350 over a 700 which comes out to a 233

            I'm sure there isn't a real quick and simple answer but how do you get the final spring rate of stacked springs?

              Spring rate 1 x Spring rate 2.
              divided by
              Spring rate 1 + Spring rate 2.

              500 x 500 = 250,000
              500 + 500 = 1000

              250,000/1000 = 250 lbs stack rate.

                I preferred the 400 over 500 with the travel stop at 1.25". have to play around with rebound to get the timing right, but it drives off great if ya get it right
