Ran a DW-8 for three years, had to run 60-70 lbs bite to get good forward drive. I don't know how good you are on throttle control, but on dry slick you have to be easy on the throttle. My car was setup real close to yours, including the springs, and it was good. JMO

Try putting 60-70 lbs of bite in it, if that doesn't help as much as you'd like try a 200 in the lr and add bite until it throttle pushes.
