Mechanical Gas fuel pump???

Whats everyone running?

With or without regulator?


Have the Carter billet pump(blue) no regulator, 5-6lbs pressure at full throttle. Need something to get me more.

CV Billet bump, 7-8 psi no regulator. Last pump you will ever buy.

Are you leaning the engine out? 5-6 should be enough.

plugs are snow white. carb is set rich. never had this problem until I got this pump, actually this is the second one. its rated 6-8 never goes above 5 sent it back and got another and its the same. this one goes 5 1/2 some times.

Might wanna double check push rod length , or you can get higher pressure springs from cv(I believe they make that carter blue pump).
