    Yoke on quick change

Spit a drive shaft few weeks back. Replaced yoke and seal. Noticed leaking. Got under it and noticed that I can move my yoke back forth some. Feels like the input shaft is what's moving. Is this normal? Don't seem right to me but I'm not a rear end guy.

The newer yokes are about 1/4 inch longer than the old ones. The old ones had a spacer behind the yoke for the yoke to tighten up against. It sounds like you replaced the long style with a short one. You are going to have to get a spacer.

the spacer fits over the splines so yoke butts against or small diameter between end of shaft and bottom of yoke bore?

I had the same issue earlier this season. make sure that you have that spacer or you will be putting seals in every week
