Compression height on piston question (motor guys help please)

    Compression height on piston question (motor guys help please)

    Ive run across a set of je 400 pistions that have a compression height of .900 what exactly could I build out of this just wondering as I have a block for them and am not up on the mixen and matchin thanks

    Divide the stroke by 1/2 and add the rod length plus the compression height

      4inch stroke 6 inch rod with 0 deck block would that work?

        half of stroke would be 2 inch plus 6 inch rod plus comp height would be 8.9 . Small block chevy are normal 9 inch deck height. so you pistons would be in the hole .100.

          3.80 stroke with a 6.200 rod with a 9.0 deck

            4" stroke 6.125 rod on a standard deck height.
