I am upgrading to a floater rear end. Are the 31 spline axles for a floater any stronger than the 28's. I know 31's are in stock form, just don't know in floater. All my gears are set up for 28's. Thanks....

31's are stronger/more durable (talking about the spline area, not the whole axle), but 28's will do just fine. They usually will wear out faster, but it's a steel axle so it will still last a long time.
I know a lot of guys used to have a lot of trouble with 28's stripping out during a race, but I haven't heard much about that happening within the past few years.#72W U.M.P Stock Car
