They'd get 300 entries if it paid $100.00 to win because it's an event everyone aches to win. It can make a fledgling driver a household name and it can complete and complement a well known veteran drivers' resume'. Winning that golden driller means a lot more than the winning purse. I'd wager that if truth be known guys like kyle larson, kasey kahn and christopher bell would try just as hard to win it if winning the chili bowl paid nothing but black eyes and a headache. I dare say that if davenport was completely truthful he'd trade a $100,000.00 late model win for the prestige and national exposure a chili bowl victory would give him. Heck, it might even get him a shot at nascar like it did tim mccreadie. It's just that big of a deal. But he's gotta' win it first.
but wait a second you say the above mentioned drivers are there to for exposure to a a type of racing is foreign to them how does driving a midget compute to driving a 3500 tank you hate as far as davenport getting tv exposure he does multiple time a year not just once a year when most people are watching football

The bottom line is this, there isn't a dirt late model race in existence that carries the national prestige and exposure of the racing world that The Chili Bowl does. That probably isn't going to change anytime soon, and that's why you're so pissed!! LOL!!

                  Dwarfs The Chili Bowl?!

                  Bbbbwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahaha!!!

You really need to come to grips with the indisputable fact that The Chili Bowl is one of the 2 biggest dirt events of the year. It is a national icon of the racing world which draws nationally known drivers from several forms of racing. Winning it can open many doors on the way to advancing a driver's career. Just ask Billy Boat, Kevin Swindell, Tim McCreadie, Donnie Beechler and Rico Abreu.

Your envy is eating you alive and your late model inferiority complex is vastly showing! LOL!!

And besides that your an ignoramus! LOL!!

Sure will. Always do. It's a milestone year for one of the 2 biggest dirt races of the year. The really good drivers will be there, too. The guy that wins might even get a NASCAR ride as a result. McCreadie and Rico did.

I really doubt the winner of the football field races will.

And that's why you're pissed!! LOL!!
