here we go again , this was a thread about the NFupL and the integrity of our flag and what it means , there have been all walks of life dye for our flag, including blacks , whites , yellow and red , as well as many cops , to give these athletes there rights , this is not a north or south thing and to bring that into this discussion is wrong and a whole other subject , there was a ranger coronal on tv this morning that was very much against this show of disrespect because of all the soldiers he had sent home lying dead under that flag that died defending these athletes rights and i agree with him , and im going to take his advice and begin my protest of them by using my TV remote. I am a proud southerner and have many black friends and the ones ive spoke with feel the same way as me , THIS ACT IS DISRESPECTFUL period..........

Maybe you should also listen to his interview after the buildings collapsed and hear him talk about how now HIS building is the tallest and how it is amazing. I almost jumped in on his southern stereotype too. I went back and read the posts again and he didnt really point at us as southerns but did give the connotation. It is their right! Either I missed it or no one is saying it isnt their right. It is covered in the first amendment right? I'm just saying that these guys should pick a different time to demonstrate because its the wrong signals bro. They dont have to like Trump. Trump isnt a vet or Francis Scott Key. We have a Veterans day and Memorial day to HONOR the folks that allow us to go back and forth on in sillyness like this. Why would anyone DISrespect those soldiers anytime, anywhere, or in any form. Why would anyone on such a platform such as the nfl choose those three minutes to demonstrate? Why would they disrespect and distract their team organizations enough to do it? The last point is irrelevant as the nfl has made it clear that the kneel protest is acceptable. In that case, and since its widespread, why not allot these guys tv time (before/after the game) to TALK on camera. Let them speak on their points, tell us why and be accountable. Be men.

I am a vet, i have family that are vets, i have family still serving. Everyone that takes that plunge is doing it for the right to protest!
