The US GDP for the third quarter was reported at a whopping 3.5% under the leadership of President Donald Trump. This was another BIG Trump win which doubles the first quarter growth of 2.2%.

President Obama never reached an annual GDP Growth rate of more than 3.0%. No President over the past century had not ever been held to GDP growth rates of less than 3.0% until Obama.

I'm not sure where the article is getting the over the past century bit. The BEA data only goes back to 1930, and that's only annualized. You have to take into account that the Great Recession was the biggest economic disaster in U.S. history since the Great Depression. The Annualized Real GDP growth dropped as low as -8.5% in 1930. The lowest annualized GDP growth for Obama was 2009 with -2.5% in the middle of the Great Recession.

Look at the data for G.W. Bush's presidency. Q1 of 2001 the Real GDP growth was -1.7% and Q3 of 2001 it was -1.7%. Q2 1980 Real GDP growth was -8%.
