Don't know if this is a good or bad thing. As arbitrary as NASCAR has been over the years some teams may not get as fair of a shake as some others. Judgement calls by NASCAR have been proven to be slanted according to who's on the receiving end of an unfavorable call. The Ricky Rudd/Davey Allison deal at Sears Point back in '90 or '91 as compared to the Earnhardt/Labonte deal at Bristol in August of '99 is just one example. The pit road speeding penalty that wasn't called on the eventual winner during his final pit stop in the closing stages of the '98 Daytona 500 is another. There are several more involving the #3 car back in the day but those two incidents make the case. Not sure if anyone has NASCAR in their pocket like the #3 did back in those days but given all of those incidents we know what NASCAR is capable of.
