The media did report on past epidemics. This disease behaves differently and so there has been a different response from the WHO, CDC, and government bodies around the world. If quarantine worked as well for H1N1 as it does for covid-19, then it would have happened.

Don't you mean The Presidents team did the fear mongering and the media just reported on it. The Presidents team is telling us we need to stay home the media didn't come up with that on their own. the media didn't tell people to panic and go and stock up on essentials that was done by Republicans, Democrats and Independents alike. It's the Presidents team leading all this so, if there is any fear mongering it's coming from the Presidents team. Most people can read and comprehend a story well enough to put their own thoughts and conclusions ( not collisions)together using the info they read........but, the lazy azzez that can't put a coherent thought together without someone telling them what to say or plagiarizing someone else's work seems to be your forte.......keep being lazy homie, you should at least give credit to the author instead of stealing his words and acting like they are your own.
