Yesterday in our town there was no meat. There's 12,000 people in this town and that's not counting the surrounding towns that have no grocery store and we only have three stores to get meat and that wasn't the only they were out of.

Remember were were discussing Trump saying the shelves were not empty now you changed it to well did people go without what they needed.

as BBQ would say nice divert there dirtman but, of course he would never say that to you.
Video please of Trump saying "our shelves are not empty. Guess what "any" agenda driven media whore can try to find an empty shelf to take pictures of and written an agenda driven story.

But yes there are some empty shelves as there are any time we have a scare of people buy all the cat litter, water, milk, and bread there is in sight.

I never faulted anyone, yes I agree with everyone going out and buying for a couple weeks is the problem and yes it does take time to get supply's in and restock and right as soon as it's stocked it gets emptied.

At least you can admit but, others can't but, that shouldn't surprise anyone on here.

Any Republican would draw their hate. be it Cruz or any other one that ran. Their problem in reality is, is that our president does not have a "D" in front of their name.

They suffer a type of brain control that maybe an intelligent person might not fall for, brought on by the propaganda that has flooded all sources of communication and information.

I give them little credit for common sense and rational thinking. Let alone the value of honesty and patriotism.

They are either clueless or actually supportive of the once Democrat party which is almost totally Communist. They will not believe this fact or admit it.
You make a good point, Clay. I fear you may be correct in many instances. But, I must say this, the blind partisanship hatred can, and does, cut both ways. I am not passing judgement on that subject here. I really would hope that most of us here are honestly objective but only they know for sure.

Clay, I'm grateful that you are talking to me once again. I hope you're not still mad at me! However, I'd still like you to explain a couple of things to me but we'll explore that at another time!

However, there are a couple of A-holes posting in other sections of this board who believe it's a good thing that a virus will kill people. This kind of scum bag thinking usually persists until it's their ass that is dying and then it becomes a case of "SAVE MY ASS"!!

Another aspect of good that may come from this crisis is the pharmaceutical production problem. China has the U.S.A. by the balls in that regard and if we don't change things they are going to eventually start squeezing said balls. That will kill a lotta' innocent people. We get over 90% of all our pharmaceuticals from China. THAT has to change. Like oil, we REALLY NEED to be self sufficient in regards to pharma.

The lack of PPE for our fine, brave and dedicated medical personnel is a crock of sh!t!! PPE equipment for medical staff should absolutely priority #1. I'm confident that those involved are doing all that can be done but this sh!t should not happen in this day and age.

ss12, I would sincerely ask you to extend and express our deepest gratitude and admiration to your wife for doing what she has done in the past and especially for the dedication she obviously feels to do what she's doing during these dark days.
CIRF My wife said to thank you and that was very nice of you for your kind words. My wife did volunteer to go as she calls it to the front lines. Since our children are now adults and no longer living at home. She thought it would be best for her to go instead of a nurses with children at home. She will be going to one of the larger communities(Springfield) to help out.
Haters don't really hate you, in fact they hate themselves because you are a reflection of what they wish to be.

More kudo's to your wife, ss. Looking out for her co-workers who have family to look out for is yet another thoughtful and brave thing to do. I get the feeling that she doesn't feel particularly brave but merely doing what is in the best interests of all involved. These wonderful things your wife is doing is not to be trivialized. God bless her!!

Throw some of the media into that basket, as well, Clay. I reckon one sometimes has to fight fire with fire. The big downside to that is almost nothing gets done and some people suffer as a result. That goes for both sides.

Is this not your post and does it say in paragraph 2 and I quote " but, yes there are empty shelves"

That's all I said the President said the shelves are not empty and that just wasn't true. I didn't blame him for the shelves being empty. I just want them to be honest no matter who it is. The media, the health officials, whoever has the mic. It doesn't matter what we say to each other but, it does matter what these people say to millions of people. That's all and if that upsets some of you well to bad and in the words of Mick Mulvaney get over it. lol
