Okay. I'll gladly take your word. And for the record I don't totally disagree with your statement regarding alternative Republican choices.

Should we also be convinced that you do not believe that our President cares nothing for the people who are sick and dying as a result of this China virus and he is purposely not doing anything to try to minimize the human and economic pain, suffering and grief? I for one sure hope so because, for the most part, you don't strike me as someone who would believe that without a preponderance of proof and it seems that preponderance of proof does not exist.

I don't believe any human being, or group of human beings, can deal with a crisis of this magnitude without a few missteps and mistakes along the way. But, to believe those missteps and mistakes were made purposely and deliberate forsaking lives and well being regarding both the physical and economic health is just a bit more than I personally can agree with.

When you hate someone( like they do the president) it clouds the view and makes it impossible to be subjective.

      Shame
Where is the move over flag when you need it?????

Just want you to know I'm not alone in thinking he wasn't serious about at first. Might want to ask some health Officials how they feel about that.

I did try to give him credit for starting to take it serious but, I had to listen to your b--- s--- that I reluctantly gave him credit. bla bla bla bla bla.

I don't know where you live and maybe your shelves are not empty but, that's not the case here as of yesterday. Do I expect that to get better yes I do.

here is a fact to think about , the 2018 -2019 flu season killed over 30,000 people in this country , so far this season there have already been over 20,000 die , i think over all , this is a wake up call for the future and if any thing good does come out of this , then maybe we will be more prepared in the future and cut that 30,000 deaths down significantly ....i live in a rural area and i am still taking precautions , i think the congested city,s have the biggest problems and can learn to adjust there life styles more to help prevent the spread of a virus , but we all have to participate to make a difference , as far as our president goes , i think he is doing a great job , he is a glass half full kinda guy , if some on here and every where could see it this way instead of a glass half empty , we could all get along much better.....JMO.......

Here's a observation from our rural community. Our community has around 12,000 citizens but we are surround by several large community of population between 75,000 - 100,000. In a 60 mile radius are little community there are 1.3 million citizens. My lovely wife of 40 years is a nurse that works in medical clinic in our community. They are struggling to get the proper PPE needed for this virus. But this is something that crossed my mine last night. We decided that we would try and support a local restaurant. My concern is it seems that we have plenty of food containers for food pick up but we don't have enough personal protective equipment for medical staff. This seems to be national problem.
Haters don't really hate you, in fact they hate themselves because you are a reflection of what they wish to be.

First did I ever say they didn't? second are you talking about that trip to the store the day they went and the shelves were empty yes some did. Now if your talking that for weeks they could not get what they wanted then know. But, Trump said the shelves were not empty. I showed you a video that said otherwise. Yesterday in our town there was no meat. There's 12,000 people in this town and that's not counting the surrounding towns that have no grocery store and we only have three stores to get meat and that wasn't the only they were out of.

Remember were were discussing Trump saying the shelves were not empty now you changed it to well did people go without what they needed.

as BBQ would say nice divert there dirtman but, of course he would never say that to you.

I believe you are on to something, ff. If there can be any good at all come from this it hopefully will be in the area you talk about. We lose far too many people to influenza every year and maybe we can change our way of doing things in an honest attempt to reduce that number.

However, there are a couple of A-holes posting in other sections of this board who believe it's a good thing that a virus will kill people. This kind of scum bag thinking usually persists until it's their ass that is dying and then it becomes a case of "SAVE MY ASS"!!

Another aspect of good that may come from this crisis is the pharmaceutical production problem. China has the U.S.A. by the balls in that regard and if we don't change things they are going to eventually start squeezing said balls. That will kill a lotta' innocent people. We get over 90% of all our pharmaceuticals from China. THAT has to change. Like oil, we REALLY NEED to be self sufficient in regards to pharma.

The lack of PPE for our fine, brave and dedicated medical personnel is a crock of sh!t!! PPE equipment for medical staff should absolutely priority #1. I'm confident that those involved are doing all that can be done but this sh!t should not happen in this day and age.

ss12, I would sincerely ask you to extend and express our deepest gratitude and admiration to your wife for doing what she has done in the past and especially for the dedication she obviously feels to do what she's doing during these dark days.

Yes we agree finally. your meaning of empty is different then mine. I know people who didn't get what they needed because, there was nothing there you know empty shelves. Yes they are restocking the shelves but, within a few hours their oh that key word again EMPTY. THE END.

I don't know how you can do something this big and not make mistakes and that goes for everyone. At least governor cuomo said the buck stops with him. You know taking responsibility something the president just has a problem doing sometimes.

I'm still working but, that might be changing. No one is panicking but, they're getting the essentials they need to last for a couple of weeks. My wife is working from home and they have been e-learning with the students. We're just taking it day by day for now.

It appears that your belief is that our President is bent upon mass death and the total destruction of the greatest economy this nation has ever experienced.

At least you're honest and I appreciate your candor. Is it safe to say that your unmitigated hatred for our President is, in your own mind, justified, rational and normal? If so, I can't imagine the torment that our President causes you. It must be a very disconcerting way to live to constantly carry that much rancor towards our leader. Do you feel that degree of abhorrence toward anyone else in this world, or only our President?
In his case as in the other three mouseketeers on here it isn't that they hate Trump, it would be the same outcome from these partisan fools no matter who was president. Any Republican would draw their hate. be it Cruz or any other one that ran. Their problem in reality is, is that our president does not have a "D" in front of their name.

They suffer a type of brain control that maybe an intelligent person might not fall for, brought on by the propaganda that has flooded all sources of communication and information.

I give them little credit for common sense and rational thinking. Let alone the value of honesty and patriotism.

They are either clueless or actually supportive of the once Democrat party which is almost totally Communist. They will not believe this fact or admit it.

So you think the shelves getting empty is the fault of something other than the the fact that many people are over buying to extremes certain products on the shelves. When this happens it takes time because they have to order in new supplies and that takes time.
