Lurker I agree with you on the sativa. Florida Keys over SPI. Everybody should go to Florida or Florida Keys over SPI. All of the snowbirds(snowflakes) need to go to Florida. We don't need them on SPI. Please go to Florida! Winter Texans,lol……the locals call y’all snowbirds I’m sure.
Padre would have to be my pick because of the regional food that I don’t get to eat much….I’d like to run into some crazy tejas influenced coastal cuisine.

BBQ, the main street on the island has signs "Welcoming Winter Texans". When it is 65 degrees here and you have a t-shirt and a pair of shorts on the locals will come up to you and comment you must be a Winter Texan. The local will have on a coat and a pair of jeans.

Our beach just welcomes the snowbirds(guess winter Carolinians just doesn’t have the same ring,lol)……lots of snowbird rental specials etc. we have some friends from Canada that come here every year for 3 months, they love it…….we see lots of what you are talking about.
So what’s the verdict for you…..Alaska in the summer or Hawaii in the summer……if I was asking about winter the answer would be easy for me.

No alcohol at all! Snow Skiing, Breakfast. BBQ can you image the winters in Alaska? Some places 18 hours of darkness.
