When Law Enforcement Intentionally Creates Justification For Shooting

I'm not positing any new theory. The vehicle was initially stopped, by the driver's actions. The vehicle was approached from almost all sides by identifiable officers. No ambiguity there, because she was already following them around and harassing them for hours. She knew where she was and what she was doing. She was being ordered into a detention situation and the vehicle does move rearward for a moment before going forward at the officer. At that moment she had a vote in the matter. She did not vote for cooperative detention.

I'm just not looking at that and saying - oh yeah, the guy purposely stood there because he wanted to shoot her. That's ridiculous. Just because there is a profane excited utterance does not mean this was somehow premeditated and a wanton killing.

Some of the people applying such logic to this are the same people who looked at the shooting of Ashli Babbitt and said - Oh the MAGAt had it coming. She was where she didn't belong. Or they look at the assassination attempt and shooting of Trump and say - Oh dammit, just a little off, maybe next time someone won't miss. Or they look at the assassination of Charlie Kirk and say - The fascist had it coming. He said some hateful and controversial things. But those people also see this situation as - She was so totally peaceful and not doing anything wrong. When we know better. She did some stupid things to put herself in the situation which ended her life, tragically and regrettably.

I never had to shoot anyone. I came close on a few situations. There are a lot of people advancing ideas who never had to view another human through gun sights while beginning to put pressure on a trigger. I'm quite sure this officer did not go home and start high-fiving family and friends. I'm sure he regrets what happened.

Morg, we’re not addressing the real perpetrator in these incidents. Who put these women in these situations? Who put these law enforcement officers in these situations? Donald J. Trump! He couldn’t care less that he’s ruining these people’s lives!

Start first at the center of the circle before you work outward. Start with her partner Rebecca, the one who was first heard shouting, "Drive baby, drive." The one who was then later heard saying, "It's my fault. I made her come down here. It's my fault."

Then move outward and look at the groups and politicians who are stoking these fires and telling these people that the feds have no business enforcing federal immigration laws. I put some blame on the local mayors and officials who do not allow their local law enforcement to assist in perimeter and crowd control duties which would keep these protesters safely away from a situation like the one that happened in Minneapolis. ICE is conducting operations in other areas where nothing like this happens, where the local authorities cooperate and keep their citizens safely away from the business at hand. If you are throwing your own citizens into the fray and stoking them up with your rhetoric and profanities, like the mayor of Minneapolis, then it is partially on you too.

People are getting fed a lot of stuff on their chat forums. Popular forums populated by bots and fake accounts, especially in places like Reddit and BlueSky which are very popular on the left. I give some credit to X that they now put a location of origination on where the posts come from. Thankfully, I don't think we have that problem here in the Tailgate of 4m. But it is a fair question to ask about what messages are getting populated in some of these places, by whom, and why, and where that comes from, and where is the funding of that coming from. I'm not saying this phenomenon exists exclusively on the left either, but in this situation it pretty much does. So yeah, look there too.

Who are the biggest consumers of mental health resources in the world today? The biggest consumers of counseling services and pharmaceuticals designed for mental health management? White American women. Just saying. Some groups are ripe for manipulation. That's not misogyny, that's just pattern recognition.

As usual, the right is always blaming everyone else instead of addressing the real problem. Who’s sending their personal Gestapo to blue states just to harass citizens because he didn’t win there?
