What do we have here? Pete and rePete? Show me all the good that the Tea Party did so far. Was it the unbending position that degraded the borrowing rating of the US government, that cost the taxpayers millions in interest, possibly billions before it's over? Was it not only excusing the defense from the sequester but actually increased the spending? I unlike you, don't care what they say. I care about what they vote for, and the tea party isn't voting to save the tax payer money. The tea party is a liar and a sell out. You can't see that with your blinders on, just as you see all democrats as progressive communists. Too much cool aid and not enough thought.

The far right and left factions are not the majority of this countries population, they just have the loudest mouths. The government of this country is supposed to be a republic with checks and balances, not an adversarial relationship. I'm just one loud mouth for the people with some semblance of common sense.

Strong defense is totally vital in todays' world. Much of the world is waiting for it to waiver.

Just how strong does it have to be? We are spending more than the next ten countries all put together. Is China the number two spender in grave danger of attack? We spend that and that isn't even counting the discretionary spending that partially pays for these bogus wars. Did you ever wonder where your SS contributions when? They where spent supporting War America Inc.

Take the strong defense babble the far right republicans put out and put it where the sun don't shine. If we didn't continually mess with these countries, we wouldn't have to fear them. We don't mess with them because it's good for our country, It's good for some of our countries businesses. Some of the benefactors aren't even our countries businesses. If business wants war, let them fund it and supply fodder for the cannons. No war should be fought with out a declaration of war and fought with the full force of our military. I am a Vet and know about these wars fought with one hand tied behind your back. I also know about the waste in this strong defense military spending.

The democrats don't scream strong defense but they vote that way. Just another case of wealth distribution from working America to War Inc. Why not? War Inc bought their politicians, they deserve the pay back.

You, my friend are either very naive or just started following world politics. Did you ever ask why we stick up for some people's rights and ignore others?
