the logic of closing down portions of the federal government that actually contribute to profit for the federal government? Are the Democraps not the dumbest things walking the planet? I buy a fair amount of GSA cars and trucks that I resell, website is closed...its a for profit entity....commissary is closed....it is a for profit entity....many if not all federal parks charge to get it, they are a for profit entity....effing idiots....

Kid, you are aware, I'm sure, that the House sent a bill that fully funded the ACA but only blocked the special deals and carve outs, Harry Reid killed it, it ain't the Republicans....this is owned by the Democraps 100%...60% and rising is the public against the ACA in one form or the other....This travesty is at the Democraps doorstep, only.

I couldn't find that bill either. Maybe www.US.gov is non essential. I know Bainer said something about a bill doing away with exemptions and extensions, but I haven't seen it on C SPAN. I believe it would have a good chance of passing both houses if lobbies didn't get in the way.Comment

The part of this that is good, is it's showing us what is essential and what is not. We will know where to make cuts, when the TEA party starts it's squeeze on the 17th of this month, when they will hold the country hostage again or yet and default on the national debt.

Either they passed that bill you was talking about in the house or not. I could not find it. It gets passed in the house and sent to the Senate as all funding bills originate in the House.
