Ever see an animal, flathead or even a clone motor for a go-cart and know the amout of horsepower per engince compared to a electric? No. We are not going in the right direction.

1-Jobs initiatives. Every time something gets proposed, the Republicans shoot it down.

2-Obamacare-Instead of wasting billions of dollars having 45 votes to repeal Obamacare, the Republicans could have instead been voting on tweaks to the law that would actually alter it to make it better. That's called governing, what the Republicans do now is play games, blame the President when nothing gets done then go on vacation. Laziest bunch of good for nothing Republicans in the House, EVER. Vote THOSE bums out.

3-Campaign finance reform. The Supreme Court has been loaded 5-4 with conservatives, so now corporations are people too. What a convoluted, nonsensical, idiotic precedent to set. An obvious move to tilt the nation's political system in favor of a wealthy few. Money is personhood. The more dollars you have, the more "persons" you get to be, and the more you are allowed to influence elections to get your own candidates in to give you what you want. Ridiculous. But like someone said, you won't get money out of politics until you get the people who side with the wealthy OFF the Supreme Court and get some of these decision overturned and get some common sense back into the mix.

4-Wall St, too big too fail banks-Bust them up. If you need our tax dollars to keep from imploding the entire nation's economy due to your bad decision making, you need more rules over your decision making to guarantee you will never need our tax dollars again.

5-Time to start calling Right Wing media what it is-Hate Speech. And people who go on the air and bloviate with myth, innuendo and hatred should be prosecuted for hate crimes. If the shoe fits, wear it. If you walked into your place of work and called your female boss a slut because you disagreed with her, you would be fired on the spot. So why is it ok and encouraged for these flame throwers to keep it up day after day to the masses?

It's a big picture question. In the big picture, the Dems had the House, Senate and Presidency, but the nation is in a death spiral, unemployment is skyrocketing, economy is in danger of completely disintegrating, etc.

They did what they had to do at the time to address the major problems and try not to rally their opponents to vote against them when that two years was up.

It's not a simple "well, you coulda done anything then, why dincha??? HUH?? WHY DINCHA??" situation. There are greater implications, bigger goals, long term objectives that were NOT going to be achieved in two years with too many crises happening when they took office for it to be that simple.

It's a talking point contrived by the right, but it doesn't hold water if you really think about it deeply.

Thats cool, but animal and other gas/alcohol powered go cart motors are pushing 20-24 horsepower and those are for Dirt go carts. I know when I was in Charlotte for World finals went to Go-Pro motoplex and their gas powered engines Honda Clones were going 55mph on road course outdoors.

But, before you spend too much time pointing fingers, don't forget that for the first 2 years of O's presidency he got everything he wanted. He got his stimulus money and the Democrats controlled both the House AND the Senate. Who's fault was it then ? His policies have simply failed.
