Mud, I feel exactly the same way, I'd really like to see young Earnhardt win a championship, he's seems like a really nice guy and shows class and dignity. Military school really made a man out of young Dale.

The Labonte brothers are 2 of the most admired and respected people ever to walk the garage area of a NASCAR race track. And that gentlemen, is worth more than all the championships, ill gotten or otherwise, there ever was, or ever will be. And that is the truth.

Slamming Someone else and " their champion???????.....he was a racer, a person who wrecked a lot of people to get to the front,and a mega superstar of the sport because of it.

He wasn't a messiah, he didn't invent the sport, he wasn't the only one winning races for gods sake......

To be clear on the subject, I'm not a 3 hater or ( apparently, like you) a 3 cult follower either.........I appreciate what he did for the sport, every sport has a guy that wears a black hat( dale was that guy in that era)

But for you or your buddy retired racer to diminish what Terry Labonte has meant to the sport just because he didn't go over and punch dale sr. In the mouth a few times when he probably should have is ridiculous.....

This thread was started about giving Terry some props for what he brought to the table and how he has conducted HIMSELF throughout HIS career........Not to get all cancered up by some racing 3 disciple that wanted to compare who was tougher than who.............you apparently missed that part in coming to the defense of your (now deceased hero).

I don't subscribe to the point that dale got what he deserved that day in Daytona because of his actions on many other tracks and at many other races..............I do believe in karma though! I just don't think dales death had anything to do with that! although some would say it did.

Just stop for a minute , and read a little ( if you can) about what someone like Terry has done for the sport........and just embrace the fact that there are many other racing hero's to many other people out there.

Dale sr. Was a bigger than life racing personality, but clearly not bigger than life or the sport itself......

The last nascar race I attended was when I cooked for Boyer at darlington when he was driving for jack Daniels/brown forman......I'm not a real big fan of nascar now either.
If you had any freaking idea of what you were talking about , you would know that I am also an avid dirt fan( go to a dirt race somewhere just about every week in season) and travel a little bit when my schedule allows with some fairly high profile touring regulars.

So do us all a favor, unless you can speak with even the most remote spec of wisdom and certainty, how bout just keep your jaded one sided opinions to conversations you have at the trash burning barrel at the trailer park ......

Dusty, you've come up with absolutely nothing to substantiate your argument. Your personal attacks are not doing anything to further your point. Calling Terry Labonte a loser only solidifies the notion that you either are stupid beyond comprehension or you're just posting to read your own posts. Now, I don't know one way or the other but I've got my suspicions.

Karma or no karma, what had been going around for a long, long time came around and there is no disputing that.
