Another situation was last year at Homestead how most of the drivers racing for the championship just so happened to be sooooooooooo much better than the other drivers that day. Like it was too good to be true.

Exactly deez! Ryan Newman runs 15th all year and suddenly is a top 3 car at Homestead? Give us a break! And, it's pretty much been the same the last few years. 24 leads the entire race and for unknown reasons goes in the pits..hmmmmmmmmm

and mud you are completely ignoring what we are saying. We all know "the nature of the bizz now" we just feel like "the nature of the bizz" is foolish and rewards nothing but luck, and belongs nowhere in any form of auto racing.

I believe I have heard every racecar driver I have ever know make one comment and they all say it the same way...."I'd rather be lucky then good" .... there's a little something to that wouldn't ya say...

And you didn't address Kyle's teams hard work to get there, whether Kyle was in the car or David or whoever...

Well if you wanna reward Kyle's team, make this a team championship. Let whoever be the driver, but make every race count evenly, not you can miss the first eleven but not the last eleven. Or having the possibility to win 35 races and lose, even though I admit the probabiliy of anyone winning more than 6 is rather low these days, the fact that it is a possibity is insane. That makes no sense.

Now your grabbing at straws.... it is a team championship.... how far does any driver get with out a team... if I'm not mistaken, a team trophy goes to the shop of the Championship driver... And as far as your scenario , ya maybe, but that's the way the rules are written, so that's the way it works.... actually it seems to play out where each team gets a mulligan, at least so far anyway...

Bristol was nothing but a snooze fest. Harvic should have moved Logano out of the way. lol

Sure he was. He had to lift everytime Logano swerved in front of him. Shoulda gassed it and let Logano take himself out on his nose.

If he was, he would have.... no doubt in my mind, unless the trip to the Red Trailer was to much for him.... its entirely possible he got a warning from his move at The Glen... don't know, just a guess.

Alright Bristol TV ratings drew a 1.9 overnite down 44% from last year and 49% from 2013 the proof is in the ratings guys low attendance an low TV ratings

I don't know, attendance didn't look all that bad.... place holds what 150K, better then 100K in attendance by the looks of it.... TV ratings are off a little too... a lot of people watch like I watch, DVR... how do they figure that in?

I was mistaken, 140K at the race according to the floks on race hub, best attendence in a while....nice try though....

To the best of my knowledge, I don't believe I have received anything to drink from NASCAR, nor do I expect anything, other then the great racing they gives us on a weekly basis...

I crew chief on a 2014/15 Cornett powered, Warrior DLM, I was at the Diamond Nationals and the North South this year and Knoxville last year, for the third time .... I'll just assume your a know it all bleacher jockey at dirt track too....LOL
What you interpret as GREAT racing and the silly gimmick's has successfully and permanently caused over half of the fan base of just 10 years ago to lose interest and stop attending and watching races on television. That puts you on the losing side of that discussion and in the vast minority but you still feel compelled to speak in staunch defense of the gimmick's and silliness. That is what is rightfully called drinkin' the kool aid. NASCAR doesn't have to offer it for someone like you to lap it up! Hehehehe!

Find anywhere that I've claimed to know all that much about NASCAR or dirt track racing. However, the numbers don't lie and make the point time and again. And the irony of you grumbling about what you perceive as someone else grumbling is not only inescapable but really funny, too. Hehehehe!

And, I really don't care if you are a blood relative of, and studied at the knee of Dale Inman in regards to your crew chief resume'. Don't care.

Now, let's get back to the subject at hand, which is cheering on pee wee to the championship so you and NASCAR can look sillier still!

                              GO PEE WEE JR.!!

Hey Cirf...maybe you need to watch a little racing then you'd actually have a little credibility... the last 60 or so laps with 22 and 4 were some great racing, around and through lap traffic.... Kyle coming from the back of the pack up to 8th or 9th was also some really good racing... problem is, you have your hate glasses on and refuse to see any of the good... there was really good racing all the way through the pack... sorry you missed it.. as for the attendance, 140K ain't nothing to sneeze at and I still think the demographics for people that actually car about cars and racing is rapidly going away.. probably won't die in our lifetimes but at some point I'm sure it will.. and it won't have squat to do with how they run the show.... kids....18 to roughly 40 just ain't into cars like we were....
