Not to call you out mud duck, just clicked on the last post. I will say I don't know much about Reagon but I know my grandfather hated him for taxing his social security. This was a WWII vet that worked 42 years in a factory. When I hired out at the railroad, the "old heads" hated him too or the air traffic control fiasco. Many believe that episode killed organized Union. As a military guy and union railroader I don't know what to think of him. I will read the book. As far as some of the other posts on politics, please no more liberals in office. It's all in front of are faces, look who controls the media and who stirs the sh1t. Google who owns 97% of the media.

I'd say organized Union bosses out of control killed organized Unions. We are still hearing the echoes of those old anti-union mantras in our politics today. The one thing the anti-organized labor movement has done exceptionally well is not let people forget what it used to be like 30 years ago when trade unions were out of control and union workers were working 3 days for 5 days pay and benefits and perks that went well beyond anything they really earned.

The trouble is there was a time when organized labor built America. And organized labor did actually do some good of the average working guy. But like all things, the leadership got out of hand with their demands and just kept on going until they got crushed.

Kind of like what we are seeing these days. People are really fed up with the Wall Street handouts, the freeloading corporations, the never ending tax cuts and perks for the few while the many work long hours for not enough money to enjoy a decent standard of living. And yes, people are calling for change, but wealth has rigged the system to ensure their voices don't matter as much.

Gerry mandered districts ensure the majority of seats are safe before the election even happens, guaranteeing certain folks left and right are going to be in place to do their master's bidding.

Citizens United took the political party influence out of the equation, so now the candidates are only answerable to the highest bidders.

Removal of media regulations ensuring equal air time to both sides and the proliferation of corporate media instead of national media ensures the airwaves are dominated by only a few voices.

Rich people are smart, they know how to look beyond the ballot box on election day to rig the system itself to ensure their dominance. Governments now cower before corporations and banks, and too big to fail is part of our daily lives. So we all end up paying the bill while people like Trump get away with what we never would dream of doing.

America is just going through another cycle of rich versus poor, kind of like the way it always has been.

And I firmly believe that you are not going to find your answers looking to a government created by man, run by man, for the purpose of governing man. Its never going to work like it should, it's flawed by design. Its the age old problem, we don't want to serve, we want to rule. So we are never happy when there is an authority over us, no matter who that authority is.

Yes making Tea Party people, Republicans, and FOX people angry is very important. Since they are a far more serious enemy (your fellow American by the way) than illegal immigrants, the debt crisis, ISIS and the other terrorists, freedom of choice, and the many other actual serious issues this nation faces are.

Yep a crooked politician and his wife who used almost every underhanded, dishonest, and criminal trick in the book to become President and tell those sqooiieee Wepubwikans where to go is REAL nation building character!!!

Don't you see clearly that the media was going to go all out to destroy Bush or ANY Republican president? The total lies and fabrications stuck on many loyal Democrats and all they do is parrot the smear campaign. That's how they set up Barack's win and that's how they play the game of politics. Corrupt and dirty. And the taking over of education and most government agencies and using them as a political weapon upon any that would oppose their agenda and also the under informed public is from propaganda and lies. Yet many people either don't care as long as their PARTY wins anything goes. And the others just plain become brainwashed fools. Then there is that small percentage of people who really do believe Communism is the best for the nation.

Had Bush done nothing the narratives are unlimited on how the media and left wing politicians go ahead and fabricate hit pieces that are nothing more than just that. And they are almost always lies and fabrications.

If this is the kind of government you want then keep on following the Communist movement and you may well get your wish. And no thanks to you for helping destroy the nation.

It is the people's choice on whether they want UNIONS or they do not. When the people see that most UNIONs are politically controlled and that their union dues are electing people that they personally don't vote for the are outraged. What right dues a union THUG have to tell you how to vote? NONE!!!

If unions are to serve labor they must not be political tools!

The PEOPLE voted in Wisconsin to clean up this corrupt racket.

The people made their choice to stop corruption and control.

The unions must be created for the people to serve the people, not a corrupt political party.

Could you please be the first liberal to actually tell me (specifically) what you think is so wrong with the Tea Party?

So far as I can tell they stand for:

                  - cutting spending instead of raising taxes

                  - policies to get people OFF of welfare instead of ENABLING bad habits that keep them there

                  - less frivolous government regulation that does nothing but stunt business growth

                  - smaller government role in people's lives and more personal accountability

I'm not seeing why all the hatred for this group.

Feel free to list something that you disagree with and why.

                    A couple points.

Look at the economy when Reagan took office and where he took it. Largest economic growth/turn around this country has seen. I don't care what he raised and lowered and when. The economy WAS BOOMING like never before. He did something right.

Most liberals do forget the Democrats going back on their promise to cut spending if Reagan raised taxes. How convenient that all that is remembered is that "Reagan raised taxes".

Clinton owes much of his economic success to what Reagan started and to a House speaker named Newt Gingrich!

                    Carry on.

Ok let's take the unions out of the equation. All I know is this country cannot take another democrat liberal in office. Whether you like it or not we cannot take another democrat in office. Hillary wants to open the boarders like Europe. There is something going on in America and it involves the media. I hope everyone wakes up in a certain group, and votes accordingly. Look at yourself and realize you are under the microscope if you know what I mean.

Mud Duck so far Obama has had only 1 embassy(Benghazi) attacks with 4 deaths. George Bush only had 10 embassies attack with only 60 deaths. Not all of the 60 were Americans.

Actually there were 8 attacks under Bush and 8 attacks under Obummer. I stand correcting your statement!

Also there was one America death total under Bush and thirty-six non American deaths under Bush, not sixty as you stated.

Clayton what is wrong with the first 3 you posted? By the way Obama 1st inauguration was on 1-20-"09". 6 is a lot better than the 10, but Bush's real # is 13. If I use your source of information(Wikipedia) Bush has 12 and Obama has 6 including Benghazi.

Clayton Go look at Reagans Benghazi"s. You could combine both Bush and Obama and they won't catch Reagan.

Here is a couple. 4-18-83 Beirut embassy 63 people 17 Americans. 10-23-83 US Marine Barracks 241 Marine.
