The whole problem with American politics is we only have 2 parties. The problems with the republican party is you have a group(s) that are really not republicans but have jumped on their wagon clamming to be republicans. They started with what 15 candidates and still have 12 left.
The party it in disarray now they are trying to figure out how to get rid of Trump. They(Special interest groups) know if he wins their control is over.

All of you so called voters haven't figured it out yet. Nothing is going to change as long as you keep voting for one of these parties. The national debt will keep increasing, we will keep fighting wars we can't afford, keep sending jobs over seas, Health insurance premiums will keep increasing and our wages will keep decreasing. They(Republicans and democrats) always run on social issues( Abortion, Guns, Gay marriage, Jobs, and immigration) and clam if they get elected they will get them changed but in reality they won't change a thing because they are going to use these issues again during the next election cycle. They really never talk about real issues. So mud just keep voting for this insanity (Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results Albert Einstein) and see if you get different results.
You tell someone to keep voting for the insanity when crap like the Green Party is the insanity. What are you thinking???

Some of the republican have caught on to what is going on and that's why Republican party is trying to figure out how to get rid of him. Trump comes in and feeds you the BS that some you guys want to hear. The media tells you that he is leading the polls by 30-38%. So what happens is all of the republicans start believing he the front runner and jump on board. According to Trump he hasn't received any donating. Why is this? Because the liberal media gives him everything he needs for free. You can't discredit his voting record on any issues because he has none. I don't know who the strategist is but he is brilliant. Keep letting the liberal media selling you Trump because in the end the democrats are going to Trump the republican. LOL
What is your reasoning on this ss. I would like to know how you make this conclusion. Because Trump has supported Democrats in the past? Other?

The GOP establishment is pushing your theory, they don't want their little control racket to come to an end.

I might ad that Trump is actually straight up, not a Democrat infiltrator.

Clayton I need something from you. What is the % of U.S. citizens that are Republicans? This is what I'm getting - 27% and up to 35% if you count the independents that lean to the right. One more thing during the last presidential race how many voters voted and how many eligible voter that didn't vote? Here is what I got 126 million voted and 93 million didn't vote.

Trump a straight up what? In the last 20 years he has been a republican, Independent, democrat, republicans and now is a registered Independent. Go to his web page and see where he stands on issues. He only has 5 listed 1 US china trade, 2 veterans admin reform, 3 tax reform, 4 2 amendment rights, 5 immigration reform. He doesn't list any other because he flip flops to much in these issues. Go and research that yourself. Clayton out of anybody on this forum I didn't think you fall for this candidate.
As far as the GOP establishment goes a lot of this stuff started when the Tea party jump on the republican side. The Tea party should of went on their on political plat forum. They knew that they couldn't get the voted needed to get anything passed and that why they jump on the republican plat forum which has cause division in the party and now there are several factions of republicans. No good republican want to take any leadership position because of the division.

Is the tea party trying to divide and conquer the republican party?

I don't know how there can be an accurate count. I did see this article that might and might not be true. Myself, I am an Independent over being for the GOP establishment. Many true conservatives and Independents must feel that way I'm sure.

Record-High 42% of Americans Identify as Independents

Forty-two percent of Americans, on average, identified as political independents in 2013, the highest Gallup has measured in 25 years. Meanwhile, Republican identification fell to 25%, the lowest over the same period.

A recent NBC poll confirms that the partisan political environment is, in fact, taking a toll on the two major parties, with voter registration revealing that self-identified independents are the fastest growing voting bloc in America. NBC commentators coin it “the rise of an 'independents’ era,” reporting that in

This could mean the a third party is becoming totally possible.

ss I am totally behind Cruz, but still feel that Trump would turn this country around in the right direction too. I am Tea Party in concepts.

I can understand a person coming to your conclusions about Trump but I'm pretty confident that he is NOT an infiltrator.

I will agree about 80% with you that Trump in not an infiltrator but not totally convince that he not. These 2 parties will go to extremes to win.

I think your choice of Cruz is a much better choice than Trump. At least Cruz has a voting record which you might agree with about 90% but no candidate is perfect. I think now you are seeing why I'm a independent. As far as the green party goes that the one I like at this time. Is it waiting by vote? No it is was "I" believe in. A wasted vote is the "93 million" that didn't go and vote the last presidential race. It just go to show how many citizens are discussed with politics in the USA. Thanks for the information and it pretty close to what I'm finding.

Oddly enough, and for no good reason, Trump will pull from Democrats and Independents far better then Cruz will, but unless I miss my guess, "IF" Trump gets in the big show, Cruz will be his wing man... which will be perfect for us of the more conservative vent... Cruz is almost identical to Trump, just not as bombastic .... the whole deal to me is excitement....where on any plane has Hilary created any excitement.... I don't know a single person that will go out of their way to vote for Hilary... it isn't that they'll go toe Republicans or third party, they'll just stay home... I read recently that Trump had a reasonable percentage of Democrat followers, it was high single digits, but when your talking only about 31% of the population are Democrat, losing 9% is a big deal... problem is, Trump/Cruz could, and I say could have the same affect on the blue hair GOP... they are far more moderate, almost liberal, then your average run of the mill conservative...

Mud Trump has about 10% of the general population supporting him. Last election there were 219 million eligible voters. Lets just round that # to 200 million. Out of that 25% are republican voters. So 50 million are republicans. Trump poll # are 31% of the 50 million(Republican). So he has about 15.5 million voters out of 200 million. I'm not voting for Clinton but she is a head in every poll when is comes to Trump vs Clinton. Cruz vs Clinton Cruz wins. Trump vs Sanders Trump wins. Has other candidates drop out he will pick up a little more. I think Cruz will pick up more than Trump. What is Trump on Obama care? He more in line with Sanders on this issue. Go to his web page and see where he on the social issues.

One thing to realize though, is that most of these "polls" are as crooked as a dog's hind leg. The media tries to distort, omit, and lie to help accomplish their agenda. These people are not even straight up on who they poll. They need a certain result and they are going to make it happen if at all possible. Many of the polls are simply meant to discourage the public whenever they can.

The polls are getting worse about getting real information. Millions of people do not answer most of their phone calls anymore I would say. With the frenzy of robo calls, the money grab schemes from telemarketers, political campaigns, and just plain scammers, who wants to answer their phones. A person simply can not make campaign contributions to everyone, so the best thing to do is to quit answering your phone calls if your caller ID does not show that it's actually someone you want or need to talk to.

When does a poll not end up with a contribution request at the end. lol

And the internet polls are not accurate either.
