There is no reason why Clinton is not in jail... Benghazi is proof enough with out the e-mails. I can not imagine how anyone could vote for her..
Liberals only please...

I have zero doubt that Trump can and would be able to do what he says he wants to do, whether or not he'll get a chot at it I don't know.... getting Mexico to build the wall is a piece of cake.... first, they already have one at their southern border, did you know that? Did you know that American dollars is the largest cash crop in Mexico? That's dollars being mailed home to family members by their working relatives in the USA.... Do you think Mexico is willing to take a chance losing that? Hence, they build a wall, all the Donald has to do is allow the Mexican President to save a little face and its a done deal....The Donald could do an Executive Order on the Muzzy immigration and he would be heralded by the masses for looking out for Americans, and you know that for sure.. and getting the Illegals out of the USA, piece of cake, they have to eat and have housing, take away every social program for them and make it impossible for any companies to hire them, by way of fine or imprisonment , which ever it takes and they( the illegals) go home... its already happening in Cali, there aren't any jobs so they're heading back to Mexico in droves...Originally posted by kidrock View PostMud, I don't go around and even try to count or keep track the number of the lies from both sides so, no I can't site any of them for you off hand because, I have had no interest in doing so.
Candidates say what the voters what to hear, why do you think Trump is doing so good because, he's saying what the voters what to hear. I just hope if he gets elected he will be able to half of what he says he will do. I have to admit I thought there was no way the establishment was going to let him become their nominee but, it looks like I could be wrong but, their not finished just yet but, it does like the boat is starting to sink.

I doubt very much the Donald will be able to do everything he says he's going to do but, if he gets in I hope he can do some of what he wants to do.Originally posted by mudslinger47 View PostI have zero doubt that Trump can and would be able to do what he says he wants to do, whether or not he'll get a chot at it I don't know.... getting Mexico to build the wall is a piece of cake.... first, they already have one at their southern border, did you know that? yeah it's to bad this administration and past ones did not enforce the laws we have on the books now on immigration.
I hope can can also reform welfare so, those getting benefits that are capable of working either get off welfare or have to work for it.

1. I voted Democratic because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I now may marry my Labrador.
2. I voted Democratic because I believe oil companies’ profits of 4 percent on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15 percent isn’t.
3. I voted Democratic because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.
4. I voted Democratic because freedom of speech is fine as long as I agree with what is said and nobody else is offended by it.
5. I voted Democratic because I’m way too irresponsible to own a gun and I know that my local police are all I need to protect me from murderers and thieves.
6. I voted Democratic because I believe that people who can’t tell us if it will rain on Friday can tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in 10 years if I don’t start driving a Prius.
7. I voted Democratic because I’m not concerned about millions of babies being aborted so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.
8. I voted Democratic because I think illegal aliens have a right to free health care, education and Social Security benefits, and we should take away the Social Security from those who paid into it.
9. I voted Democratic because I believe that businesses should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as the Democrats see fit.
10. I voted Democratic because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would never get their agendas past the voters.
11. I voted Democratic because I think that it’s better to pay billions for their oil to people who hate us but not drill our own because it might upset some endangered beetle, spotted owl, gopher or fish.
12. I voted Democratic because my head is so firmly misplaced toward the south end of my body, it’s unlikely that I’ll ever have another point of view.

Hey Clayton, were you on RS or another site with a different name? Used to misspell everything on purpose... nothing obnoxious, just wondering...

1. You are a bigot
It's true that not all Republicans are bigots. But if you ARE a bigot, the Republican party will be much more your group than the Democratic party. Remember that there are lots of ways to be a bigot: You could be a racist, a homophobe, an Islamophobe, or lots of other things.
2. You like eating, drinking and breathing poison.
Many Republicans are calling for or voting for shrinking or eliminating agencies that protect us against poison. They seem to think that the corporations will do the right thing, without any pressure from the government. Uh huh. Read The Jungle. Look at the way Monsanto is hiding facts about Round Up. Look at food safety and outbreaks of E. Coli.
Corporations exist to make money. They will do so any way they can. The government needs to stop them from doing so in ways that hurt people.
3. You think the rich don't have enough money
The idea that giving more money to rich people (via tax breaks) will help poor people is nonsensical and has been shown wrong time and again in history. Huge tax breaks for the rich (a la George Bush) don't work.
4. You don't support our veterans
The Iraq and Afghanistan Veteran's Association (IAVA) rates every member of congress on how well they support our veterans. In the Senate, 9 people got A or A+: All were Democrats. 30 got D or F: 29 Republicans and one Democrat. More on this
5. You like big deficits
Since the end of WW II the ratio of debt to GDP for the nation has gone down in 9 administrations (3 Republican and 6 Democratic) and up in 7 administrations (6 Republican and 1 Democratic). The largest increases by this measure were GW Bush's 2nd term; GHW Bush, and Reagan's first term. The largest decreases were the three terms right after the end of WWII (Truman and Eisenhower). The last decrease under a Republican was in Eisenhower's 2nd term
source
6. You don't believe in free speech.
The American Civil Liberties Union is the premier defender of our civil liberties, including the right to free speech. That's free speech for EVERYONE; from Nazis to Marxists to Fred Phelps to anyone else. They rate politicians, including governors, senators and representatives. 12 people got a 100 rating: All were Democrats. 65 people got a score of less than 10: All were Republicans. Only 6 Democrats got a score under 50 (Joe Donnelly, Michael Ross, Collin Peterson, Joseph Shuler, Mark Critz and David Boren). Only 2 Republicans got scores over 50 (Olympia Snowe and Mark Kirk) Full list
7. You like big government
The Republicans like to claim they are against big government. It's a lie. They only object when government helps people. But they are supporters of the Patriot Act; they want the government to say who you can marry; they want the government to forbid abortion; they want the government to be able to spy on you without restraint. Unfortunately, many Democrats agree with them on some of these, but to find opposition to these big government ideas, you have to look to the Democrats.
8. You want government to hurt people, but not help them
This is really just a summation of some other points.
9. You are greedy, short sighted and rich
You really have to be all three for this to work.
If you're rich but not short-sighted, you know that, in the long run, when there is huge income inequality, it leads to things like stock market crashes and revolution, and everyone loses. In a revolution, it is often the rich who lose most.
If you're rich but not greedy, you recognize that helping others is a good thing, and that the government assuring that people have a safety net is a good thing as well.
10. You like torture
The Democrats don't exactly shine here, but the Republicans are much worse. It was, after all, (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) Cheney who bragged in his memoir about being a war criminal. It was Don Rumsfeld who opined that a problem in Abu Ghraib was that they weren't torturing prisoners enough. And it is mostly Democrats who have objected to torture.
Torture is wrong. It's also stupid. It doesn't work. People who are tortured will say ANYTHING (true or not) that they thing their torturers want to hear.Haters don't really hate you, in fact they hate themselves because you are a reflection of what they wish to be.

How is not wanting to change the very definition of marriage being bigoted? If I believe 2 + 2 = 4 and you tell me it's 5.... am I a bigot?Originally posted by ss12 View Post1. You are a bigot

You did not once address the point of the gas tax being higher than the oil company profit. Nice deflecting.2. You like eating, drinking and breathing poison.

Why is it anyone's (much less government's) business how much money I (or anyone else) have?
Show me one instance that making the "rich" "less rich" has helped any poor person in the long run?? The government is not there to pick winners and losers. Can you show me anywhere in the Constitution where it says people can only make a certain amount of money? Can you show me where it addresses income inequality?
Who had the "VA scandal" where people were dying on waiting lists?4. You don't support our veterans

I won't defend Bush because I think his economic policies stunk.5. You like big deficits

Reagan, however, had a hugely gutted military (thanks Carter) to rebuild to fight the Soviet Union during the cold war. Which he did masterfully. Had he not had to rebuild our defenses, the huge boost to the economy his policies created would have been much more prevalent.
If you're going to have deficits, you may as well have a thriving economy to show for it. He did.
The very fact that you would give any credit to the ACLU speaks volumes. Do I need to provide a link to the absolutely ridiculous stances they have taken?? While on the surface their mission seems worthy, the way they go about it and what they choose to defend is usually less than impressive.6. You don't believe in free speech.

Why don't they defend the civil liberties of the unborn children???
No, we see the difference between government "helping" people with "welfare" and them ENABLING and creating MORE dependence on government. A safety net is fine....as long as it's not allowed to turn into a hammock!!7. You like big government

See above "safety net" statement.8. You want government to hurt people, but not help them
This is really just a summation of some other points.
If I'm rich and not greedy I can and SHOULD be allowed spend my money any way I see fit. Actually, regardless of what I am I should be allowed to spend MY money the way I see fit. Please tell me why the government should be deciding who makes too much money?9. You are greedy, short sighted and rich
You really have to be all three for this to work.

I agree with Carson. Get rid of ALL loop holes and deductions and have a FLAT tax. Would you have an issue with that SS????
We may not need to torture, but we sure as hell don't need to build them soccer fields and feed them like kings either.10. You like torture

SS12, I am particularly interested in what you think of a flat tax while eliminating the loop holes and deductions. Please respond to that.Last edited by skids; 02-09-2016, 10:28 AM.
