In your eyes, under the current rules which is the chase format the winner is the legitimate champion. You may not like it but, does not mean they are not the legitimate champion. They didn't win it by cheating the system. They went out and won by the rules given to them.

Yes they are losing fans but, really if you think about racing in general is losing fans but, I will agree the guy at the top sure has not helped and is partly to blame. The promoters, vendors, hotels, ect,ect are to blame as well. They all got greedy and were charging outrageous prices plus the economy are to blame as well.

LOL more with the numbers? Why don't you put your pencil down and just enjoy the racing.... its sad to be so dependent on a "number" to make yourself look good...very sad indeed... let me tell ya something, it was a good race.. if you didn't watch it, you missed some great talent in all of the drivers... so just enjoy your little hateful world and me and Kid will enjoy the racing...

Just stickin' with the facts muddy ol' buddy. Speculation is highly arbitrary but the numbers are solid. You speculate, I choose to use hard facts as a guideline.

And the hard fact is pee wee jr. got his ass handed to him by a superior driver! LOLOL!!

And nope, we didn't watch. It was a beautiful day in our neck of the woods, a little windy but beautiful, nonetheless. We took a ride in the C4 LT1 to exercise her just a bit! Listened on the radio and cheered wildly when JJ put a whoopin' on 'em and got a kick out of pee wee's somewhat subdued radio interview when it was over. No possible way we could have enjoyed the afternoon as much if we'd have watched.

How does the man randomly listening to it on a vehicle radio help NASCAR out? Could be the only radio station on out in that neck of the woods. MRN always told the facts more truthfully and faster anyway than the company sucks on TV do anyway.

How does it hurt them? It means he's was still interested in the race. When your not interested in something your not going to listen to it.

Good one on the only station in the area. Ha ha ha

Kid, just to clarify, we happened to be doing a scan of the FM stations in the area that we were cruisin' and it came on with around 55 laps to go and we listened to see where Kyle Larson was running at that time. By the time the boys on MRN did a rundown that included Larson's running position there were only around 25 or 25 to go and Jimmie was leading so we left it on.

Larson was running 4 laps down at that time and harvick was desperately trying to catch Jimmie for the lead.

Hope that clears up where the interest came from.

Oh, and that restart was a great one by Jimmie, wasn't it? Just another W for JJ.

Again it doesn't matter why you were interested but, that you were. Ok there was only 55 laps to go but, did you not have the choice to turn the station and not listen or did you continue to listen.

Yes JJ didn't gave the best car all day but, he had the best car when it counted and that's all that matters. Good W for JJ

The question was, how did it help them? Like a tree falling in the forest, nobody noticed.

the bad thing is back when they raced lot more, the new rules would mean different champions back then which is not fair to them by letting pee wee herman in is corrupt the system.

                              Good analogy, Clayton!

I guess if wondering how a dirt driver is faring in his present chosen form of making a living in racing is "interest" in NASCAR, per se, then I plead guilty to being interested. My interest would have been exactly the same if Larson was racing a NHRA pro-stocker or a pro touring snowmobile (nothing against pro-stockers or snowmobiles). I'll follow a former dirt guy regardless what he races.

It shows the consistent string of little white lies of I never watch NASCAR... when in fact, he does and even said he had to search for it.....
