    Default Building Decking/Interiors

Hello i am in the process of building a car for next year, and need to build a new interior and decking for the car, its not a late model but not all stock type cars have decking, so thought this would be the best place to ask for advice. I was hoping maybe some guys might be willing to add some pictures as to how they made certain pieces or any advice in general in how to build the best decking, and making it look good.

get a lot of cardboard and make templates/patterns for the pieces so you don't waste aluminum

That'll work if they're large enough. Thinner cardboard works well too, and if you ever need to do bends in a brake you can put the cardboard in it and get a nice fold on the template instead of trying to crease it.

are you using a stock fire wall and floor pan? If not I can send you some pics of the last metric car I built with a fabricated wall and pan, its decked and boxed in.
