Chicago a state all to itself........a state of disrepair, murder and confusion.

I moved back here after 21 year Trip just for the dirt racing....9 years in Baton rage La. .... 10 years in Ely mn. .... 1 year in C Springs Co. 1 year in a state I refuse too name...Came Home too see Dirt racing at its best....

For personal reasons,I'm probably one of his biggest detractors on here but wouldn't go as far as to say that about Mark............he has brought more to the sport than he has taken away from it.......by far.

Your right BB, he has brought a lot and has taken his share and then some. But, I was referring to Jeff's comments of Mark being concerned the tire deal would hurt racers. But, yet pricing a new XR1 with an outrageous price tag. He's just as guilty for the current cost of the sport as anyone.

Rocket wasn't the first chassis company to price in that ball park. Once you have to start paying engineers to look at your chassis the price is going to go up, he is still selling the Blue front cars for those who can't afford an XR1. It sucks that it got to this point but you can't switch it back now (there is no way to regulate how smart the person who designs your car is). But I do agree regarding the price of cars, it is out of hand and all of the big time chassis companies are guilty (incl. Rocket, Longhorn, Bloomquist, Club 29/Black Diamond, Victory by Moyer and others).

The tire deal would hurt racers though, that is a fact just sit down and think about it. Talk to some (not national touring) teams and see what they think.

it wasn't said to be a dck measuring contest on who works with whom on what....it was said to make you realize that your continued condescension is unnecessary.

I'm completely familiar with how small budget teams operate and what their struggles are.....the guys we help are exactly the guys your talking about.

Sometimes when you post , you act like you are the only guy that's ever been to a racetrack and that the rest of us are just bleacher bums.

Again just like the last thread, it is all in how you are reading my posts. If we were talking in person you may not think that. I'm explaining my thoughts as always, if you already know what I say then good. If you don't then I'm glad I took the time to explain. While you may be well versed in that side of racing there are hundreds of others who read this post and all of the others in this thread who are not.
