This wrg is so messed up now that it's bad for them it's a 30 day penalty started the day after the race? Everyone else is 90 days from the date of the appeal which took me 2 weeks to get done. I still think there should b no suspensions just loss of points and and money. I also don't know how u can take a guys money from 3 features when only one tire was found from one of the races. If we are going to make rule/penalty changes they need to be made in the off season. Just want it to be the same and consistent for everyone.

^ If you believe that everything that is tested, modified, engineered, tweaked etc. on these cars have been approved by the sanctioning bodies then I can't help you understand.

Of course it isn't. Some of it doesn't need to be. With the new rules, some of it does, and shouldn't have to be. And some of it is flat illegal. I know how this works.

I have no problem with him racing during the deferral but once he is found guilty he should at least have to serve the entire suspension. In baseball if a guy gets suspended for 10 games he has the right to appeal that may get dropped a couple of games or not but, he still has to do the time after the appeal not during it ,and still playing.

WRG, UMP, WOO and whom ever else is involved here is making the rules and changing the rules as they need to benefit themselves. Last year when the five drivers where busted at Eldora none of those drivers were in any points chase in any of WRGs series so the punishment was more severe. This time it is someone that has run all year with WOO and stands to loose a lot in the champion (60K for 2nd). So WRG changes the suspension to 30 days from 90 days. Everyone else that has been busted has served 90 days from the end of the appeal with WRG. I am OK with the 30 days but if it's 30 days it's 30 days from the appeal/defferal. WRG is wrong and if I were the other drivers in the WOO points race I would be mad. WRG is totally wrong by the way this was handled compared to past incidents.

Both Satterlee and Bloomer ran the Firecracker just a couple weeks after the Dream when they were caught. Bloomer won. They were allowed to run WoO events until the appeals were heard. Madden getting the same courtesy isn't weird at all.

The fact that Maddens appeals process is carrying out and counting towards his 30 days is unprecedented. Running during appeal, indeed is not. The 30 days for a LM offender is also unprecedented. WRGs hubris or insult to our intelligence is simply amazing.

Someone forgot Owens got busted at the same time. Remind me again who was allowed to race during that time and who wasn't? The guy has a legitimate reason to whine.

Penalties should be the same for Bloomquist as they are for Mike Wilson.

I wasn't speaking on the length of the suspension. I was just saying being allowed to race until the appeal is heard is pretty standard procedure for them. The length of the suspension is very odd, considering past cases. I will not dispute that. I offered up a possible explanation for it a few posts after that one, but still, it appears to be home cooking.
