They (the lamms) will be providing a full time crew, including a crew chief. Bob was never to be the crew chief from the start, even though it was worded that way from the very first press release.

Please tell us why 4th in points would be bad? I mean, there's veterans that are doing good to get in the top 10..... Anyone who would bet on him winning the whole deal in not only his first season, but in a totally different car than he's ever drove clearly needs a drug test, especially since he hasn't even raced one race yet.. Earl finished 7th for the same team and he is a seasoned veteran and a multiple time champion of the series. I expect Bobby to do as well, if not better, than anyone else they could have put in the car.

didn't imply that at all, 4th would be great. was only saying that I expect him to be 4th or on back in points. bp will have a great season.

If Bobby finishes in the top 6 in points in 2018, in a new chassis and with a "new" team (to him), I say that's a success. If he finishes 7th-9th, I'd say the team will "look to improve" in 2019 and probably had some "bad racing" luck. If he finishes 10th or lower, given the team's finances and Bobby's ability behind the wheel, then and only then will I say the season is a disappointment.

Both series are loaded with top drivers/rides and the "winners" will be us, the race fans, in 2018.

No doubt in my mind he can contend for the title...my concern is the motor program Dunn-Benson uses is it up to snuff to compete with the Durham Fords for a national title?
