No need to argue with a couple of sign posts. Innocent parties routinely settle to avoid long, drawn out litigation which can grow to large sums when employing those shysters in the legal system.

Everybody assuming that the settlement is in the wards favor. It might be in tony favor where if the Wards drop the suit tony wouldn't go after them for his legal fees. Or tony might have to pay a token amount t to the wards so they can claim victory of the suit.

Question : August/2012 : At Bristol Stewart cuts down into Matt Kenseth and Stewart ends up crashed on the inside wall. Stewart gets out of his car and is on the track. When Kenseth passes by Stewart, Stewart throws his helmet violently at Kenseths windshield. My question is : If kenseth turns his car toward Stewart and runs him over would it be Stewarts fault for getting out of his car and running toward him as he is flinging the helmet ? Or would everyone be sticking up for Matt and be saying all kinds of dumb things to protect him like he did not a thing wrong ?

You really have no argument, whether it's with a sign post or otherwise. Even an inanimate object can plainly see that the record will forever show that Stewart assumed at least partial culpability for the death of Kevin Ward Jr. when he chose to take the out of court settlement. Even a witless dolt such as yourself should be capable of figuring that out. LOLOL!!Originally posted by jog49 View PostNo need to argue with a couple of sign posts. Read what Mrs. Friesen said in her sworn deposition and you'll see that your lame and inadequate attempt at humor is at least partially correct. Before you begin to bloviate incessantly as to how she's just a spurned, scorned and disgruntled former love interest consider this: to knowingly lie or mislead in a sworn deposition is defined as perjury in legal context, which is punishable with both jail time and a hefty fine. Besides that, I've seen both Tony Stewart and Stewart Friesen up close and millions or no millions it's grossly apparent that Mrs. Friesen came out on top of that comparison! LOL!Originally posted by jog49 View PostSo you think Stewart turned his car towards Ward and ran him over? LOL! Thanks for your overly active mind.....or lack thereof.Last edited by CIRF; 04-04-2018, 01:51 PM.

Have you seen Tony's soon to be wife? Millions of dollars and a huge upgrade as well. LOLOriginally posted by CIRF View PostYou really have no argument, whether it's with a sign post or otherwise. Yep, I've seen her. I reckon, as the old saying goes, it's all in the eye of the beholder and she will probably enjoy the money for as long as the supply is available. Given Stewart's penchant for borderline psychopathic outbursts she might do well to be wary of angering racing's resident answer to the pillsbury dough boy. LOL!!! Either way Mrs. Friesen made a marked upgrade. I'm bettin' both are outa' your league! LOL!!Originally posted by joshroth14 View PostHave you seen Tony's soon to be wife? Yep, it could have been a lot worse.Originally posted by Tireguy17 View PostFor all the negative things that can be said about Ward's state of mind and doing what he did post-accident, just as many negative points can be made about Tony's on and off track incidents in his career.
It's a good thing that this didn't goto trial for all people involved.

And if you were in their place?Originally posted by tb1545 View PostI hope Tony Stewart offered an obscene amount of money for the settlement in the form of donations to a charity/ foundation in the kids honor. That way the parents dont get crap, their kid gets the remembrance they want, and if they refused they would be exposed for the money grab that this is.
