Many fans are going to die with the LM class when they see it has been politically done away with, and is no longer there, other than national series.

We have not been to the local track this season as of yet.

the crate late models put on a good show at ponderosa speedway every night they race some realy good local racers that don't want to go to open wheels with too much horsepower and too small tires these guys put on a really ggod show as long as every one is playing by the same rules! last year you could watch the front two pullaway on the start from e very boby by thre car lenghths nowing you cant compete with that! but tech was next to nothing so you have to wreck them or finish behind them. and know one wants to wreck another racer! just frustrating, we have a very good car

Some of the best racing I've seen since moving to Georgia five years ago, was some of the crate shows at Cochran. Honestly, three or four of the best features you could ever see on dirt. Supers on a weekly basis are pretty much dead in this state, but it isn't because of crates. The guys driving crates are the ones who can't afford to drive Supers anymore. Believe me, I've talked to several of them. I know.

Nailed it! That's pretty much how I feel. Whats funny is they act like a crate engine is cheap, but its not.

Crates usually put on a really good show. They are more competitive than some think. Qualifying times on a 1/4 or 1/3 track are about a second slower. Can you really tell a difference other than sound??
