What is a hot lap? Anyone that races or crew a on car please explain the difference between hot lap and time trail/qualifying. So some people can understand the difference between the two.

I agree, but once again a sanctioning body fails to do the one job they have. I do understand though, when they try to enforce rules they get beat up by the fans of the affected driver/drivers.

Nope. He has never won a Lucas heat. The car was fast all night. This track is one we really like and he is very comfortable on it. As for the main,I'm not making excuses, but suffice it to say there was an issue with the seat .
