My take is many teams have different bullets for different tracks... Big inch, smaller cubes, slick track carb... Lots of different cams in use, etc.

The cam I have in my iron 383 looks tiny compared to what my friends run but it's a custom grind from a small outfit that grinds very good stuff... Im hoping for a 50 hp gain compared to the old grind

I know there are many different ideas out there about what an open motor should be.

Won't fit my Studebakers motor... Did have a 30/30 in my high school driver...sounded so good I couldn't get anyone to race me!
