To be fair, if you asked Bob why he didn’t have a hauler like his contemporaries in the SDS, he would say because he had nowhere to park one. His equipment was always top notch. The low budget thing was a little overblown, and he’d admit that.Originally posted by SLIDING SIDEWAYS View PostTmacs dad did it all his career. I like the story on RJ. Saying it got cold on the way home from the rust holes in the floor. Tough racer right there, didnt even take a generator with him, parked under a light!!

Lol, now that you posted that, I took pictures too and forgot all about it. Almost the same pic. A new dually is absolutely $70k. That thing is rough in person, $20-$25k tops.Originally posted by Punisher88 View Post100% 08 or later dually. I know a new duramax is closer to 70k.Up in the air who my next “favorite†driver is. Even Brett Hearn's cars had battle scars on em sometimes back in those days, and he had the nicest hauler in the northeast.Originally posted by SLIDING SIDEWAYS View PostI dnt meen he never kept his cars up. Only car I remember that looked fresh as a daisy most nights was the Billy Taylor 1, especially when Hoffman was wheeling it.Last edited by Josh Bayko; 12-14-2018, 08:51 PM.

Yes they did. They were about spotless. Doug hoffman would haul the mail in them too! Too bad he did what he did.Originally posted by Josh Bayko View PostEven Brett Hearn's cars had battle scars on em sometimes back in those days, and he had the nicest hauler in the northeast.

My take is: people whether its T Mac or whoever are trying to make the case that he is super over achieving...and that is not the case at all..people on here have pointed out the fact that you can have the best car on the track and have turd for a hauler, so this underdog narrative is nonsense...

So everyone thinks t mac is ar a disadvantage because he doesn't have a shinny tow rig and a stacker ? I bet he has everything he needs inside that 5th wheel to get the job done. To me it shows you don't need a 1/2 a million dollars invested in something that just gets you from point a to b. There's no difference when that car backs out of that trailer. The only thing he is giving up is a back up car and some creature comforts. Good for him I say. Kick them all where it hurts and see if winning makes a difference in what you pull down the road.

I don't say good for him. Get your CDL and put your hauler back on the road or quit crying.Originally posted by dirtcrazy4u View PostSo everyone thinks t mac is ar a disadvantage because he doesn't have a shinny tow rig and a stacker ?
