Couldn't hang around for the second A main last night. The A main qualifiers were listed as 35 laps, but leader board said 65 laps. Host on youtube said something like first 35 laps cautions count. Last 30, they don't. Leader board still showed 4 laps left when the first qualifier was over. 100 lap race supposedly will list 200 laps with a portion of the cautions counting, and a portion of them not counting. Will we be able to actually go by the leader board to know how many laps left?

No the first 50 you will have the right lap count but the last 50 has to be done by hand as iracing counts yellow flag. They add the extra laps so they are sure to have enough to complete the race

I believe after lap 50 they will have a script that will show the right amount of laps without caution laps counting but maybe not.

If not the announcers will keep you informed on how many laps are left. Hopefully they have the program working though

Thanks for the replies. Awesome quality. Nice clean slide job for the lead and win in the first Qualifier.

It would be nice if Iracing could get the lap counter straightened out for the dirt guys. You would think it would be easy to program.

I find it very entertaining to watch. It is an awesome fix for those of us that can’t easily get to a track. There are some awesome streamers on Twitch, so you can get a racing hit every night if you want. The WOO Sprint and Late Model Series put on a very good show just about every Monday night from now until the World Finals. I hope to have a PC up and going by the end of the year and a sim racing career started.

As far as the Facebook link, I couldn’t get that to work and then I couldn’t find it on the VLR Facebook page. Didn’t know if I had to be a member of the VLR Facebook group or what. Ended up watching the YouTube channel, which I prefer anyways. I hate Facebook with a passion.

I have iRacing, only issue is, you gotta be able to practice practice practice, to get good. I just don’t have the time. It is enjoyable though. Dirt and asphalt, on of my favorites is the SK modifieds.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

I only race fixed set ups because I don’t want to devote my life to it

They're pacing to start right now. 8 central.

How much does it cost to get the right setup, i.e., pc/graphics capabilities, wheel, etc. to do this? 3k to win, with no $800 tire bill, fuel bill, travel cost, and pit passes.

I'm sure it takes a ton of time in practice, but way less capital involved to race as much as one wants.

WR1 Sim Chassis sells top of line rigs for about 6k.

Keep in mind, this 3k to win show only comes around once a year.
