Dammed good run by my preseason pick in January for a breakout season by Cade Dillard. A 3rd place finish was his best of the year, he could possibility steal a win here eventually. But with Sheppard averaging a 1.96 finish this season in WoO competition, it could be tough for Cade to do.

Well; on to the FALS, can't wait to get there tomorrow ! Enjoy

Jimmy Owens really ought to switch to the WoO next year. He just runs better with them then he does with Lucas these last couple years.

Dillard very impressive........His car is as good as any of them. Must say the feature was entertaining with lots of things going on. Marlar running 2nd blowing, Chad Simpson flip, Pierce bicycling the wall, 4 or 5 drivers under the track record during hot laps and finally Shep and Pierce making up lots of ground on leader Owens.....Good crowd short of 4000 fans announced. Of course the fans were disappointed homey Birkhofer pulled off with mechanical troubles after lap 2. Don't believe he had a car that could win.

Lanigan held him up longer than Shep did. Pierce wasn't the only one up top.

            That Dillard fella does impress.

Is that how he rolled the nose? Getting put up high. They all use spotters, including Bobby. Personally, I’d make them all quit using them.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

Racing would be much better without the spotters & their sticks! Heck -that’s why they took the radio receivers out of the cars years back. We have the same thing now-just with old fashioned ways instead of the radio technology. 🏁🏁

15th to 3rd, he said the nose flap broke and rolled under, what do you do, Brandon went up high, most likely signaled when Bobby was about to go by him, then when he moved up high he took all the air off Bobbys nose and you could see after that he just couldn't get off the corner as good as he was...

Most likely signaled??? But you aren't really sure.

Speculative conjecture to fit the tired narrative ...........smdh.

I bet you have Bobby’s picture on the ceiling above your bed! Your hero worshipping is disgusting! Post 38 is a prime example “as always fastest on the track”: if this was the case-he would win every race instead of finishing 13th. You have to be there at the end to get the 1st place trophy! It’s not Bobby Pierce that a lot of race fans don’t like- it’s his groupies like you that are disgusting!

It's not possible to like Bobby and think some of his fans are idiotic.....I've been told that many many many times.

You will now be labeled a Bobby hater, get ready for it.

Oh, and good post by the way.

Why should it bother anybody because someone is a die hard fan? Someone who roots for his team win or lose? Someone who hangs on to the very last bit of hope that his driver is still going to pull it off when it looks grim. A fan who believes his guy is the best. He may have every shirt, diecast, and trinkets his guy sells. And yes, maybe even a poster above the bed. He may even make BOLD predictions that come true or not, it doesn't really matter, because he's a fan. A die hard fan. Whats so bad about that? What happened to live and let live? Someone is passionate about something and some people have a problem with that. "It's not him, it's his fans" really? SO WHAT! We, us, they, are fans. Isn't that what being a fan is? Fan comes from the word FANantic. Just a thought people. I'm on the side of the fence to be happy, not sad. I try to look in the good in people and not the bad. Whether you like Pierce, Bloomer, JD, Shepp, Owens, or a back marker, I say stand tall and root for your guy! If you crush a fan for believing in his guy, what kind of person are you?

The race itself was alot better of a race. Then I thought it was going to be.(For that track) They could race on the bottom or the top. Bobby put on a show like he always does.(15th to 3rd) But, if you live by the cushion... you also dye by the cushion. I was really thinking that Birky had a good shot at winning that race. But, as they say... Things happen...
