We fed those guys down at east bay and golden isles one year when Jimmy was still in the bloomer car......fox, hootie, chicken head etc. were all in attendance.

To make that story even better, the feb race in golden isles was on my 20th wedding anniversary so I got Jimmy to sign me a 20 tshirt while I was there and gave it to her when I got home along with the tennis bracelet I had bought.
She still has the shirt.....lost the tennis bracelet fishing.....go figure.
Where is the move over flag when you need it?????

Growing up in the garage listening to his dad, I bet he knows more about setting up a car then you give him credit. I could be wrong.
Maybe he does, but the difference is that the older Pierce kind of gives me a control freak vibe, so even if Bobby does have that knowledge, it looks like Bob is the one that calls all the shots. Madden, Bloomer, etc., seem to drive the car AND decide what needs to be done to it and I've never noticed someone else making all the decisions, even when they were younger. Maybe Bob will take more of a background role when Bobby hits 30 or so, who knows?

Probably a similar situation with Mark Richards and his team. But at least with Richards you can say it's because he actually owns the (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) Rocket company.

        Hey bbq:
Maybe it’s time to get another Owens shirt & bracelet ??
I think Jimmies cousin- Chris Fox is kinda helping out some now? They were a force in those bloomer Chasis.

Foxfire absolutely! Like I said I respect your opinion, when you said I disgust you I don't want to be looked at that way, but I will tell you I respect you more for saying how you really feel, but I've never disliked a driver because of what someone else has to say about them, Ive never been a Bloomquist fan but it has nothing to do with people worshipping him or asking how they liked that Tennessee a** kicking, when his fans were talking most of it was true. I didn't pull for Scott because he won everything, but I wasn't a hater because I never spoke on it or made reasons up to down him, honestly I like Scott now I actually pull for him when he's not racing Bobby...I was just giving you an example being Scott...I love dialogue Foxfire as long as we can call a spade a spade...sorry for calling you a newbie btw...

Why should it bother anybody because someone is a die hard fan? Someone who roots for his team win or lose? Someone who hangs on to the very last bit of hope that his driver is still going to pull it off when it looks grim. A fan who believes his guy is the best. He may have every shirt, diecast, and trinkets his guy sells. And yes, maybe even a poster above the bed. He may even make BOLD predictions that come true or not, it doesn't really matter, because he's a fan. A die hard fan. Whats so bad about that? What happened to live and let live? Someone is passionate about something and some people have a problem with that. "It's not him, it's his fans" really? SO WHAT! We, us, they, are fans. Isn't that what being a fan is? Fan comes from the word FANantic. Just a thought people. I'm on the side of the fence to be happy, not sad. I try to look in the good in people and not the bad. Whether you like Pierce, Bloomer, JD, Shepp, Owens, or a back marker, I say stand tall and root for your guy! If you crush a fan for believing in his guy, what kind of person are you?

Smooth I'm hearing you loud and clear, but you know as well as I do that what is happening here with illstate is much more obsessive than being the super fan you describe......if he's going to have the guts or the nuts to make those statements then he needs to have the same to accept it and not make excuses when they don't work out in his favor.

Obnoxious fans always run into someone more obnoxious that has a different opinion.....been going on that way in every sport for decades.

I have zero opinion about him as a person because I don't know him, I have a very good opinion on his opinions because of what he writes on the most opinionated racing site on the net.

So basically, you just dislike piercefan and illtsate because they're diehard fans and stick up for their racer?? They Stick up for him when others bash him to their downfall. I like Pierce, I would say I'm a fan. That being said, I really don't have a problem with an over zealous fan or 2. Some go overboard and some say nothing, buy they're fans. I may not agree with them but because we are all fans of the same driver it doesn't bother me. Now, on the flip side, if I didn't like Pierce, I would hate guys like piercefan and Illtsate.

and you guys say I twist words???good lord bud, what the hell is wrong with you?

If you haven't got it figured out by now either you are completely stupid or just another one of the closet denialists.......personally I don't think you're stupid, but based on your deductions and implied logic you're not that great at psychology.

"I like Pierce, I would say I'm a fan"?????? Considering your screen name, being coy isn't exactly your strong suit either.

Don't know piecefan, or illstate.......can't say if I like them or not.....they have opinions, I and others have different opinions.....when it's the same handful of guys screaming no,no,no you're wrong and everybody else is saying yes then it's probably not everybody else that's wrong......it's pretty well documented.

No l basically I dislike their opinion because they stick their head in the sand when something comes up that's not exactly wine and roses about their racer........one thing to be a fan, another to completely ignore and dismiss as " hater talk"what a majority is trying to say......and most times an overwhelming majority.........sorry I missed this in my above post.

As much as you try and deny it, there is a difference between a great fan and just a nut job that can't come to terms with reality.

Dude! For real, you are the one that has an issue. Talk about head in the sand. Keep on with your infatuation. It seems you live to bash those on here that you dont agree with, mostly Pierce fans. Rock on! I'll end it by saying I hope someday you see how stupid you look and hopefully you will grow up.

I usually try to stay out of these cat fights, but I do have to say that your assessment in this case is spot on.

I did make mention about Jimmy earlier. I suggested he should probably switch to the WoO next year, because he runs better with them than he does with Lucas anymore. Probably got lost in the weekly Pierce catfight.
