Sure. First, I like swingarms. Second, I like how Rusty designed the rear clip, from main hoop to the tail. The replaceable fuel cell section I think is cool.

It's braced where it needs it. No reason to run the down bars back near the bumper and make the suspension attaching part flex more. That does look pretty good.

I would have definitely bought a shirt if some of the money was going to the family. The giant lines at the Arizona trailer told me not a lot of people thought this way.

I imagine most folks just assumed where the money would go, but who knows we do live in exceptionally selfish narcissistic times. I could see idiots doing selfies while the plane was still smoldering.

I didn't see any of that, but regardless he could have still had a deal to make and sell the merchandise with Scott getting his share. The deal I was referencing was from when Scott took a lump sum payment from Arizona and Arizona got all the money from sales for X amount of years.

This is that deal. It never ended. Arizona/gotta Race has sold all bloomquist merch since then.

Yup. Scott got paid, what he did with that lump sum I don’t know, but Newton hasn’t gotten a lot of return on that payment with Scott’s last 5ish years of sporadic racing. If people choose not to buy merch post-death that’s fine and understandable, I also don’t see a problem continuing to sell in a Gotta Race/AZ Sports Shirts trailer. Rip the Bloomquist wrap off it and only sell a few Bloomquist options with a balance of other driver merch. Let people buy track side if they want but be respectable about it with a small amount. My $.02 as a lifelong zero fan.

No. There never has been. It would be too easy to beat anyway. Just change one little small thing to make it look different. Besides Kirkpatrick, I don't think anyone has ever built a "clean sheet" design that wasn't in some way copied from a major builder's car.

Considering the history, it's likely there's a great deal of Barry Wright in a Bloomquist chassis.

I've owned a few BWRC's, at least one from the Bloomquist/Wright era and in my opionion, from mainly photos of Bloomquist cars for sale, the Zero basic layout of the cage and front clip was Rayburn-like, but much more detailed and reinforced. The tail section did resemble a 2000 model BWRC I had, but not exactly.

Regardless, this post is about chassis and this was asked.... "My question is who owns the brand name and its intellectual property to manufacture?" to which someone replied that Newton did. I doubt Gerald had anything to do with the chassis side.

No one owns any right. There are no existing patents or trademarks filed.
