There was a reason also he removed the Chasis jigs to another person the previous week.
    Everything was well calculated beforehand.
Quit being so cryptic about it and let us know about the “calculations” he made?

It wasn’t a secret that the McDowells were taking over the Team Zero chassis business. If they didn’t get the jig then who did and why? Did the alleged recipient of the jig know about Scott’s intentions? If he had life insurance, why risk losing it by killing himself?

Scott’s had money issues ever since the lawsuit with Blankenship.

What's even more cryptic is people seem to be arguing about who knows more, who knows what, well calculated, I know what I know, ETC. Can't some just let it go? This thread started about Scott's character. People are sure taking it down a demeaning path. Far from character.

That would be impossible cuz you can't keep a secret for very long in the pits. MasterSbilt_Racer

I'm done with it, without knowing what went on behind the scenes or in his head there is no way for anyone to know for sure one way or the other what transpired, short of a note spelling it out. I concede some of his decisions leading up to the day can be viewed as evidence of intent, but at the same time in a different light be seen as evidence of something else. The NTSB will eventually issue their findings, the coroner will give theirs as well. If he did do himself harm, its a shame and a tragedy and a loss for everyone. I think if he did chose to do this, he made a huge mistake thinking it was his only choice, it wasn't. Peace everyone, 2024 is almost in the rears and i for one am glad.

Someone else here said they saw a Bloomquist jig at the Rocket shop.

I was there that weekend too. My Bloomer lovin son said the same thing you did. Soon as he fell, he said Bloomer's winnin this weekend.

For what it’s worth, the NTSB is currently conducting a “level 4” investigation into this crash. That is the lowest level of an aircraft crash investigation. The investigator did not even travel to the scene of the crash to look things over. He is doing the investigation “remotely”. I wouldn’t expect to much to come out of it.

Appears around 1/3 of our residents don't believe in facts or anyone that presents them. "They talking down to me again, mom"..."my 8th grade education was plenty"..."college is just to get those darn librels indoctrinated".

Jimmy Owens’ self built car is supposedly some Zero/Rocket hybrid. Maybe he has the jigs?

Though, the orange front Rockets were supposedly Zero copies, and they went over about as well as a lead ballon.

You can't just stick this front end on a different chassis and expect the same outcome, it just doesn't work that way. The Zero stuff was a much more rigid platform than pre-XR1 Rockets and the Rockets in general seem to respond better to the "Yawed out, drive it like you stole it!" driving style. Bloomquist/Zero has never been that and perhaps thats why JO was so phenomenal in them but sporadic with Rocket. JMO
