Racers of an earlier era will tell you if you pulled some of that crap you'd better be prepared for the consequences that would follow you to the pits afterward, i.e. an azz whupping. That & also in the "old days" driving over the edge came along with risk of getting seriously hurt on a more frequent basis. You see this in all forms of modern racing. There are guys that race midgets that drive as tho they are indestructible. Dirty sliders are the name of the game in that racing.

These high dollar national drivers are the reason local super late model racing is fading away. Lucas and world of outlaws cater only to them and have allowed the cost of racing to skyrocket because this is what these race teams want.

so every time any of these race teams blow one of their time bomb high dollar motors, it’s a great thing. He went through 2 last weekend.

I don't think it's what the race teams want. It's what is sold to them as a better product and convinced they need it to compete. The high costs are about to break a few teams.

Nope they had no money to bring to the table. Has nothing to do with the people around them. There is some good people around them. It's one thing to run a late model team but, it's a whole new game running a Nascar team. Not matter what series you run.

I'm still a fan of Pierce. People have become to soft when it comes to late model racing. I guess I'm just used to watching the midgets and Sprint cars doing sliders all night long. HH25 you're right Bobby is not there to make friends. He's there to cash the check and he drives hard to do just that. The bank doesn't care if some feelings get hurt along the way. lol

If midgets and sprints pulled the moves Bobby does, people would die
