Nice answer Sammy.......glad there hasn't been any questions about it until now, oh wait.
You forgot the "You take the sample, they put it in the bag, I write on the bag the date, the track, the event, the compound of the tire.... they sign, I sign, and the drivers name goes on there so we know who it belongs to, and that's all there is to it. They all go in a tamper-proof evidence bags, they're sealed, and on monday morning when I get to my office I put them in a box and send them off. If any bag would've been opened, she (the tester at the laboratory) would not accept it."

he won every race he was not proven to be cheating in, proof is the deciding factor here. remember , in this country , innocent till proven guilty , your question is answered , your welcome...lol.....Originally posted by oldfart50 View PostThis lab, that lab, he said he wasnt cheating and said he was set up, it was a bad test, he is a nice guy and wouldnt do that, blah blah blah. Sorry you are all so crushed that your Hero's are a bunch of cheater's but they are... I do feel bad for all you Bloomer fans. I mean how many races has he won legal??????

Yes, yes, and yes...........I'm of the same opinion.Originally posted by siderman View PostI don't necessarily root for any driver. One is sent to the lab, the other is stored somewhere in case the driver wants a retest.
If you're going to test just make sure it's done fairly and that the chain of command isn't compromised and rife with inuendo.
Has absolutely zero to do with favorite driver this or that.......and fwiw, these 5 at eldora aren't even close to any of my favorites with the exception maybe being Owens, I do like him as a person, but not in my circle of guys I ardently pull for.

That's exactly right in some regions the super lates are becoming a thing of the past at some local tracks and at others their still doing ok. same thing for other classes some may be doing better in one region but, not another.Originally posted by old fan View Postdifferent regions look different
as far as the cheating it's been going on for a very long time.

back in this thread somewhere , someone talked about terry casey getting caught and telling them that he bought the tire softener from bloomquist. a couple of years ago, there was a guy on here that called himself "crown cuts". he was a chemical salesman and was trying to sell tire softener and claiming it was undetectable. a little while after that, someone on here said bloomquist has hired that guy. I realize that this is all he said crap, but I wouldn't be surprised. when someone says that there product can't be detected, that becomes a challenge for the labs and with time they will find a way. so, back to oldfart50's last question, "how many races has he won legal?" how about owens? if shephard is still driving the house car for rocket, should Richards find someone else to drive?
