The track knows the front cars prep tires but doesn't want to police it then the cars won't show up. Now they just have a punch rule. Prepping a tire doesn't make it softer(certain preps) just gives it a ton more bite therefore there's lots of treating going on

Why buy undetectable tire prep if it's legal to do at his local track. Is he also racing at tracks that don't approve of tire prepping thus the need for undetetcable tire prep?

I thought that had been solved........the way I understood him was that the guy he buys prep from is his buddy....and it just so happens that his buddy's prep is supposedly undetectable.

If that's who he buys it from and that's all the guy makes, it wouldn't make sense to say " hey , just make mine detectable"
