I thought that had been solved........the way I understood him was that the guy he buys prep from is his buddy....and it just so happens that his buddy's prep is supposedly undetectable.

If that's who he buys it from and that's all the guy makes, it wouldn't make sense to say " hey , just make mine detectable"

Your right. why would he buy anything else because if he goes to race at a track that does check tires he wouldn't want anyone to be able to detect he's cheating with tire prep.
