It's been said they all do it......collectively they run 100s of thousands of high speed laps and I can't say that I've ever heard one instance of a treated tire failing and causing harm or death.

It has to do more with applying the tire dope and the Chemicals that are in it and breathing that stuff into your lungs.

when the manufacture says not I would trust them and if the sanctions says not to do it and you are breaking the rules correct would you see a v10 or v12 at a race with fuel injection at a race with huge side panels to boot so why can they break the rule on tires if the team don't like the rules race somewhere else

Try to follow along here.........everybody dopes tires.......no attributable accidents or harm done to any driver because of a doped tire ever.......the reason the warning sticker states and seems to indicate if you alter the tire.
